This place is literally in the middle of nowhere, I would never have found it, without the assistence of a local. It's a none descript building, it looks like any eaterie you could find in a Spansh village.Inside, it has a homely feel and a butcher's counter.We were seated in a conservatory like area, after some meat, cheese and the odd look speciality we had a selection of meat and fish dishes to share for main course,which was very good indeed.I was persuaded, to have dessert only one choice, arroz con leche, I am a creature of habit..It was good, the simplicity of the facade hides a restaurant serving simply cooked food of very good quality,with friendly service.

We visited with a large party (56) and the main course had been preordered. It was a lunch time when they are busy anyway, but if they can't cope with the numbers, they shouldn't take the booking. The service was very very slow and disorganised. We were all split up into different rooms. We waited to order drinks at the table for over half an hour. The staff just kept disappearing. The starter of salad was fine and the main of chicken and roast potatoes was lovely followed by a cheesecake. Very authentic Spanish cooking but there are other places, just as good, with better service. Had we not been in such good company it would have been a disaster. It's a place many of us had driven past and wanted to try, but now having tried it, I'll just keep driving in future.

Ate here with my colleagues to celebrate Xmas. They have a very good reputation in town and did not dissapointed us. The food is neither surprising nor exciting, but the quality is very high. They really know how to treat good ingredients and the staff is quite friendly and professional. I especially recommend the "false ravioli" and the salad. The price was quite reasonable.
