As the reviews were very positive, we wanted to try this restaurant during our stay in Canico. We drove all the way up there and when we entered the restaurant where some locals were enjoying a beer, the only response we got was: we only open in half an hour.... oh well, thanks for the kind welcome! We went for dinner somewhere else, where we were greeted nicely and we had the feeling that someone actually wanted to have us as guests!

We were on holiday recently staying at the hotel next door to this restaurant. We decided to have a family meal (11 of us, ages 4 to 74) and booked a table. The table was ready when we arrived and laid beautifully, the staff were very friendly and professional and the food was great. The staff were very accommodating and went out of their way to ensure we had a great evening. Majority of us had steak and no complaints from anyone. Highly recommended.

We visited this nice restaurant twice because we simply loved it! Plenty of options to choose from in the menu, but we had salmon, tuna, and mussel tartar, board of smoke meats, tuna steak, mule, and beef steak. Everything was absolutely delicious, cooked to perfection, and the portions were generous. Their speciality is mussels which unfortunately we didn't try, but they looked and smelt delicious as well. Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable about their dishes and wines, so ask for advice if you are not sure about what to eat!
