This restaurant is located in the heart of the city of Johannesburg. It has a unique ambience with lots of interesting signs hanging all around. Customer service is extremely friendly and courteous. Food menu appears decent with a variety of options to choose. Taste of food items was unique. Pricing was affordable making it a great value for money. This is a hidden gem of a restaurant.

Found the restaurant on google and based on the website, we decided to celebrate birthday's. Being from Durban, the restaurant was slightly difficult to find based on WAZE. Parking is very inconvenient as we had to walk in heels to the restaurant which was a good walk away. Upon the elevator doors opening, the restaurant is beautiful, well lit and spacious. we where escorted to our table and asked immediately to place our drink orders. Once the drinks arrived we where asked to place our orders. the waiter insisted we place our starters and mains at the same time. We asked the waiter for his suggestions and ironically he pushed the most expensive meals down our throat, R900 for a steak sheesh dairy cow or not that is a bit much! However we managed to order what WE wanted. The prawn and avo starter is absolutely amazing and is a must try, for my main i had the sirloin steak, was not the greatest but was good. The dessert menu then came, and i had to remind the waiter that we where celebrating two birthdays'. I made a reservation and sent a follow up email to confirm this. I was a bit annoyed with having to remind the waiter that we were celebrating a birthday in front of the people who where celebrating their birthdays. We received ice cream with a card. We also had the ice cream cookie, nothing extraordinary, but the cinnamon meringue is amazing.Visit for the experience, and Instagram photo but nothing would really make me want to return.

Brilliant. One of the best settings in JHB. Heritage House, in one of the old grandeur Architectural homes. Intimate setting, brilliant service, brilliant staff. In summer the garden setting is brilliant, winter the intimate setting in this good grande dam home, is a unforgettable experience. Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner. A huge nod and salute.

This well established restaurant has been here some time & has a great atmosphere & friendly staff. The menu is quite extensive & caters for a variety of tastes. However, was disappointed with all the hype around the steaks from grass fed animals. Had medium rare to medium fillet steaks & found them quite tough. Must be an acquired taste.Hi KarenThank you for your review.We have an immediate exchange policy for just this reason...so sorry you have to chew through a piece of beef you didn't enjoy.After the ageing process the beef should be tender and juicy and we only select beef from farmers that are very selective and care for the well being of their bovine. While visiting Maboneng, we stopped at the Argentine Grill for lunch. The menu offered a variety of dishes and catered for everyone in our party. The atmosphere was fantastic and the rustic décor added to the ambience of the place. The staff were friendly and efficient and the service was very good. We ordered various meals from the tapas menu and every single dish was delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

We were staying at the Protea Parktonian and wanted to eat at places other than the hotel.This spot popped up and we decided to check it out.Great venue, awesome vibe and great staff - attentive and helpful.Food was excellent as was the choice of beers.

So if your a meat eater, beef lover, this is your place....A 1kg rack of ribs.... yes please... its a chain restaurant so you know what to expect... prices are above average, and the decor is hideous cheap Red Indian.... but those ribs... worth it.Dear MarthinusvdM, Thank you for taking the time to review the Falcon Peak Spur restaurant.
