The atmospher was cool and the staff were helpful and acting on requests very prompt. The food is very good and value for money. I liked this place because it was near the hotel i lodged in and also in the shopping mall.This place is for travelers like me who do not need to go far.

We went here because everything else was closed. Not at all impressed- the food is typical High fat greasy pub food. The crumbs on the mushrooms are southern fried chicken coating. Ok- I get that but if you want mushrooms not southern fried chicken! Schnitzel totally inedible.

I have been to Tribes quite often. The Service, (with a smile) is efficient and the know how of exactly what is on the menu and recommendations. However, my absolute favorite every time are their delicious tasty spare ribs. Soooo very tasty and a good portion. Not forgetting their "creme Broulee" for dessert. Best Ever! I highly recommend Tribes. :)

Very busy with groups when I arrived. R50 for a half a bottle of wine. Chicken livers very average. Sirloin nice but not great. Two veges packed together in one small bowl. R150 for 250mg??? No advice given on the cut of the day. Waited forever to be served and then waited again for my bill. Overall impression, not great.

I ate here twice as it was cheaper than some places close buy but a little more upscale. Meet a friend for breakfast here. She had a salmon omelet which she said was very tasty and filling while I had a farmhouse breakfast which was a nice size portion for me. We both had a cappuccino and cream to go. Was a lovely atmosphere with quick service from a friendly waiter.

The atmosphere is pleasant and we have been coming here for a number of years however the quality of food has deteriorated. The ribs we ordered were too few and my husband's steak was cold when it came to the table. The desserts aren't fresh either. We used to enjoy coming here but unfortunately, the standard has grown progressively worse. Won't be coming again.

Found this Spur by chance and was impressed by the friendly reception at the front door and then on entering the restaurant the cleanliness caught my eye immediately and the calm and confidence of all the staff was great.
