An exceptional place for beef lovers. We had Jack Creek's australian tenderloin, unforgetable soft, juicy und full flavour. It'snt cheap, but fair priced, in USA, Dubai or Singapore you have to pay more for comparable quality. It's 20 km from Cologne, reservation even middle in the week suggested.

The have a huge indoor charcoal grill which is quite a show. I like to sit next to it. The steaks are awesome. This people know their job. The service is quick. The gents serving charming and nice.

Two friends and I visited this restaurant for dinner and it was a very good experience. Two of us had steaks and one had the calamar. All dishes were tasty and the presentation was nice. The restaurant was clean, comfortable and service was friendly. Prices were moderate and the portions were large. Overall, a very good experience.

This restaurant & bar previously traded under the name of "Zur Eiche" and I loved the steaks and atmosphere there. I was, therefore, intrigued to learn how, under the new management things were shaping up. We booked at short notice one Sunday afternoon with the request to have a table near the telly to watch one of the World Cup football games. Our friends knew the new owners and we were warmly greeted on arrival and given the chance to still move the furniture around for ideal soccer viewing. The drinks were soon flowing and, as we waited for our main courses to be prepared we were treated to a large plate of local Balkan style cooked meats - really delicious. Most of us ordered steak and my filet steak was cooked to perfection accompanied by a large baked potato and lashings of sour cream. The salad buffet bar added to the feast. All our party was really pleased with the food and extraordinary lengths that the management went to make us feel welcome & comfortable. We'll definitely be back even when there is no football to watch :-)
