3 of us dined on a Monday evening. We had filet mignon (2), crab cakes, baked potato, asparagus, truffle fries, mixrd veggies (broccoli and carrots) ... bread and a mini cheesecake desert (complementary for birthday person)Waiter was Nathaniel, and he was excellent ... a nice engaging young man. Filets (bacon-wrapped) we're ordered medium-rare ... Both were closer to rare, but we're good. Crab cakes we're described as "delicate" (flavor wise). Fries, asparagus, baked potato, and veggies all very good.Bread was excellent (butter could have been softer).Cheesecake was also excellent (perfect temp with a carmel drizzle). No real view ... and parking is a little bit of a pain (especially since there were snowbanks blocking some of the street parking). There is a deck about 3/4 block away. All in all I would say and 87-90 out of 100.

Bos Taurus is a boutique, chef driven American steakhouse located in the heart of downtown Bend. Our open-air kitchen is built on Chef George's commitment to sourcing the highest quality beef from around the globe and centered around a custom cast-iron sl
the steaks are excellent and the service quite professional. Nevertheless the management discourages substitution which is unreasonable for a tiny spot like this. e.g. cocktail sauce is not available for the oysters ... you have to take what the chef has concocted. the seating is a bit uncomfortable and because the venue is so small you are right on top of the adjacent guests. It is a two story restaurant and very loud in the second story. It is quite popular probably because of its limited capacity. For prices like these, the restaurant should be larger and more luxious.

Enjoyable old western feel restaurant in Tumalo Oregon We enjoy coming here for a casual dining experience. The western vibe and family style meal is a nice treat and break from other restaurants. We always get a good perfectly cooked steak and a family friendly atmosphere. The service and food are consistently good. Worth the trip
