We visited this restaurant on impulse to see if american cuisine was being fairly represented in France - it wasn't. The food was OK, wasn't as good as I was expecting, but this could probably be attributed to the water we were served which had a strong oily taste - I sent it back and was brought another bottle with the same taste. This coloured the whole experience for us - if you can't even serve water correctly or listen to your customers' complaints, who knows what else is subpar that we missed? Be careful if you do decide to visit, and try a glass of water before ordering.

Buffalo Grill is part of a chain and this one in Chartres is not far from the main road. Parking is available. It has 3 separate dinning areas and always seems busy.The service is quick and provides good value for money.It is an ideal journey breaker for those travelling back to Dieppe and the toilets are clean and tidy.

We have enjoyed this restaurant in the past but their menu has changed, and the staff too. The staff are far too eager and made us feel as if they wanted us through the restaurant as soon as possible.Considering the number of Brits who pass through Chartres there was no concession to the potential inability to fully understand the menu or the various offers.Needless to say I chose the wrong option and paid â¬10 too much.The food however was excellent but needs to be offered and served with a bit more finesse.
