quaint lttle Irish pub with home cooked fresh food at very reasonable prices..The first IRISH PUB in the AZORES..Getting ready for the RUGBY WORLD CUP..KITCHEN OPEN TILL MIDNIGHT..
My wife and I were finishing up our day and couldn't resist a stop into this very well apportioned Irish Pub, especially one located in this little outcropping. The gentleman who owns the bar (unfortunately I forgot his name) is very nice and welcoming. The Guinness is fresh and tastes like that of Ireland. Though he offered some wonderful meal choices we were moving on so only had the beer. Will make an excursion back for a meal next time.

We had the traditional beef, one for two people and the feijoada cake, the meat was tender and cook to perfection, the fries really nice, and the desert really tasty. The chef's father, our waiter, the most attentive person in the hole Island.Thank you for a great lunch.

Wanted to try this restaurant after reading positive reviews on TA about the steak cooked on a stone. Hotel desk made a reservation for 6:30 pm, we called for a taxi and off we went. After waiting for the restaurant to open for more than 20 minutes past the appointed time...the door remained locked...we walked to the taxi stand and went back to our hotel. Hotel staff did not have too many kind words to say about the owner. Not recommended!!

Had high expectations for this place. In fact it has everything to be a good restaurant. But it isn't. The steaks we ordered, in a place where you are supposed to eat good meat were hard and tasteless. My mother couldn't chew the meat. To charge 16 euros in Terceira for something like that is outrageous. Some other dishes are OK like the cow tongue but still overpriced. Clearly overhyped, better head elsewhere.

Itâs an upscale eatery, the place to go for meat dishes after the daily fares of fish/seafood on the island. Truly a place for carnivores, huge servings of meat between 200g (7 oz) to 400g (14 oz). The morcella con ananas starter was terrific, smoky black pudding with fresh pineapple. We then had Bife pimientas perfectly cooked served with brandy sauce, and the hamburguesa associacao perfect grilled medium, bread less serve with two sunny side eggs, grilled slightly hot pepper, grilled garlic cloves and thin sauce. Both went so well with two reserva wines. Finish off with espressos. Great service. Very inexpensive.
