For those with a sweet tooth, this is where you will find your sugar rush sated. I personally did not like the salad dressing before the hibachi, nor did I enjoy the scallops being washed with a sweet dressing. The overall, sweetness of everything spoils the taste of the flesh and the experience.

I love supporting small mom-n-pop restaurants. After reading the reviews I decided to try Mac's out. It is nothing fancy...a restaurant with a bar in the back. Decent drink prices...and I had an awesome steak for the money.

Bottom line: High quality food with very good service. My youngs sons and I were in Athens to visit the downtown area and decided to give this Japanese style steakhouse a try. The staff was refreshingly friendly and efficent. We got some spicy shrimp rolls as an appetizer and they were artfully displayed and tasted great. We has scallop and steak hibachi meals, all very good as well. A highlight was the ginger salad that came with the meal. All in all a good meal at a reasonable price...definitely worth a stop.

Even though this is a chain. the food is always good!! I love the beef tips and baked potatoes.......the cheesecake is good too.

I had the steak and chicken dinner combo. The food flavor was ok and the portion was filling. The service was good. The overall environment was outdated and old. No real problems but I will probably not go back simply because most restaurants are better choices.

The most uncaring group of people I have ever met. We asked for a table, low top, they said they would need to have one cleaned for us. Once taken to our table the chairs were wet, mine with a standing puddle! Mentioned it to the lady and was met with unconcern. No apologies, no offer to correct. We were made to feel very unwanted. We walked out and have no intention of patronizing a Loganâs roadhouse restaurant again. We are sorry to hear about your experience, and we will be looking into this for you.
