The meals are amazing big portions that big couldnât finish them off. with house red wine and couple of beers. the owner or waiter was attentive at all times. The pudding chocolate mousse with strawberry and cream. I recommend this clean and tidy cafe restaurant.

Brought here by customers; canât thank them enough. The owner/chef kept bringing out different meat varieties, all done to perfection (my taste anyway). On the table you had a little pot with hot coals (I guess, didnât use it myself) to put on the slices of meat for further cooking to your liking. The flavour of the beef was sensational. The chef brought the sliced beef on a piece of wood and always took his time to talk about the product. Very professional and passionate. Will certainly try to come back here. My mouth is watering as I write.

What a fantastic first dinner in Portugal! The Gold dinner for two had four different steaks, five sides... Of which the spiced black beans were terrific. Comes with various sauces for the meat, but the meat was so flavorful you didn't need the sauces,. A nice bottle of regional wine and a tawny port completed the meal. Wow...just wow!

This is a typically rustic Portugese restaurant - family run I believe. On arrival you go out to choose your cut of meat which is then served with salad, rice and chips. I am not usually a red meat eater but having been recommended here I went for the fillet steak and I was so glad I did. Barbecued to perfection and melted in the mouth. Good selection of desserts and coffee and house wine very good. Excellent value for money!

Excellent restaurant with enough choice in dishes both meat and fish. Price / quality ratio is okay. Wine is good and cheap.
