Reviews on Steakhouse food in Afton, Oklahoma, United States. Afton is a town in southwest Ottawa County, Oklahoma, United States. The population was 1,049 as of the 2010 census, with population growth stemming from the near abandonment of nearby towns of Cardin and Picher because of ground contamination sites by local mining quarries. The town may have been named for the Scottish River Afton.

Enjoy our awesome ribs, smoked meats, steak, salmon, catfish or Monkey Island favorite Chicken fried steak.
Ate there for dinner. Pulled pork was dry, and a small serving for a pulled pork dinner. Loaded baked potato was small. Fit in the palm of your hand. Macaroni and cheese was very plain, and I stuck my fork in it and lifted it out like a popsicle. Service was slow, but our waitress kept our tea glasses full. I am sorry to hear of your disappointment as that is not the normal feedback we receive from our customers. I do recall Saturday night that I personally was unhappy myself with both the issues you mentioned and made changes in the kitchen when I saw what was going out. My guess is that you were in on that particular night. I hope you give us another try as we constantly listen to the customers. https://media-cdn.tripadvisor.com/media/photo-p/0f/e9/d9/58/our-motto.jpg

It'd been more than two years since we'd last been through the area. This latest trip we decided to stop into Mike's again in Miami OK for dinner, and we weren't disappointed. There have been changes: much of the interior looks different; it's much lighter in the dining areas now (no longer the dark log cabin feel). We came in late on a Tuesday evening, and Mike's wasn't crowded. Some local folks at a couple of other tables and that was it, so we were seated and served quickly. Our waitress was prompt and pleasant to talk with. We had the chopped sirloin steak and the fried catfish dishes. The meals were very good and ample, and as before, the mushrooms and spiced apples as sides went nicely with the chopped steak. With lemonade and tea, the total bill came to a little over $32 before tax and tip, which I thought quite reasonable. I'll look forward to visiting again when we're next in that stretch of northeastern Oklahoma.

Small little piece of gastronomic heaven in Langley, OK - who knew. Started with steamed artichokes (wonderful) and artichoke ravioli with cream sauce (even better) Then some delightful, fresh salads from their garden - dressing not overpowering - and on to the entrée - perfectly done and seasoned salmon! The portions were just right - we certainly didn't leave hungry and the staff was so attentive - we will be back every chance we get.
