simple fair of Mexican food. rolled tacos are very good. wife enjoys the soups. free refills on tea/sodas. ample seating but parking is limited as this restaurant is located in a strip mall. additional parking in the rear and if needed or you missed the entrance may be found at Burger King. when ordering you have to order at counter but they will bring the food to your table.

Being Canadian, I'm not spoiled for choices for Mexican food. However, while in Yuma, everybody told me I have to try Pepe's (short name for Los Manjares De Pepe).Wow! They were right. I grabbed a tamale and enchilada platter with refritos and rice and was blow away. Everything was perfect. Okay, she forgot I ordered a coffee, but the food was so good I didn't care.Try one of everything. Hell, get 10 of everything (call first for that though).Seriously, why are you still reading? just go to Pepe's!!!

El Charro Cafe is one of Yumaâs oldest family owned restaurants. Established in 1949 by Tony and Lola Gutierrez, it was located on Fourth Avenue. It quickly became a favorite spot for Yuma families. In 1970, the Gutierrezâ relocated to a larger building o
We arrived around 11:30 AM, and the place started filling up fast after that. We were promptly seated, given menus, served chips and salsa, and our order was taken in good time. The homemade cilantro salsa here is very good! We both opted for the Un Poquito lunch special which comes with beans, rice, and a soft drink. I chose the folded taco with shredded beef which was tasty, and the amount of food with the special was perfect and not overwhelming. Larger appetites might prefer the combination, or the macho. Service was great, as well with the meal. Outside parking is adequate with room for many vehicles. I would come back here again.

I went on a Saturday, had Huevos Rancheros and a Taco Carne Asado. Very good food, lovely service - I felt very welcome. Best carne asado I found in Yuma. Informal interior that I feel could be a little nicer, but adds to the originality of the place. Would come again anytime.
