We went to find a restaurant with some friends who live in Gran Canaria which they'd been to before and were keen for us to try. When we got there it was closed so we had to find somewhere else to eat. We had spotted El Alpendre on our way so decided to eat there. What a great find! Really excellent food with fantastic service. We were welcomed warmly and the menu was explained to us. I just can't fault the whole experience. The style of food is Canarian but with a touch of Andalusia. Lots to choose from and good quality. The wine, which we had by the glass, was not expensive and was very nice. Highlights were the huevos estrellados, garbanzado y la ensalada Alpendre. We will definitely be going back there and will recommend it to our friends.

The valley of Valsequillo is not one of the tourist's favourite. There you get plenty of nice views over the isle, but you must deal first with some 'hard' roads.Lots of the customers are repeaters, and among them the priests of the neighborhood, and it is well known that the spanish priests have a reputation of knowing the best places to eat. Anyway, if you go give a try to this restaurant. Try the watercress salad, and above all, ask for a veal's steak, sided with the home fried potatoes. You will have to decide if the potatoes are better than the veal or otherwise. And it is fair priced.

Nice little restaurant specializing in Asturian food. We had a lunch here of Cabrales cheese croquettes and bacalao. Itâs a good place to go if you want to try the cruisine of Northern Spain and makes a change from Gran Canarian food. Friendly staff and good atmosphere, gets quite busy for Sunday lunch so best to book.

We invite you to spend a nice day offering traditional canary meals in the counstryside with charming views where you can distract and have a great moment with friends and family. Popular prices, products from our farm. You are welcome! We are closed this
We visited yesterday, taken by Denis Schimmeyer of GC-tours. What a delight! Real Canarian food. Various small plates to start and then a hug3 platter of barbecued meat and sausage. Chorizo like youâve never had before..... bit more like sweet back pudding, chicken and pork. All washed down by a bottle of their own red wine. Highlight of the holiday. Probably not easy to find, but go with Denis, he could find it blindfolded!!!

This place is incredible. It's not just a restaurant, but a museum of wine! The house red wine is delicious, and simply trusting the owner to recommend the meal is recommended. Everything we ate here was delicious, and we took two bottles of wine home with us!

Driving down from Roque Nublo you must stop and get energy with the best stake in the island with some "papas arrugadas", mojo... the place is not fancy but it doesn't have to because the meal and the service are great!

We stopped at the Tasquita on our way to the airport. The place is a nice Tappas restaurant, with an ample selection of dishes, all typical mediterranean. The service was super friendly and we had a good time.
