Only two tables to be served at this early lunchhour, even so the wait for four light lunchdishes (including three different salads) was 45 mins! The food was OK, and host and his wife (J&J) was cheerful and nice. But the wait was just to long to get a decent score.

Lovely evening at this restaurant. No menu but a wonderful selection of food on offer.....described by the very enthusiastic host. Fabulous smoked salmon, fresh tasty salad, octopus and squid, camel.......cheesecake and rice pudding. Wonderful food perfectly cooked. Accompanied by great local wines. Very quirky decor, relaxed atmosphere......and we were given some fabulous tomatoes to take home! Highly recommend.

Restaurant has a good selection of typical Canarian dishes- the sauces accompanying the Canarian potatoes where spot on ! Fish was fresh and flavoursome. Attentive service and reasonable price point. Agradecemos su comentario, reciba un cordial saludo de todo nuestro equipo. Hasta la próxima...!!!

part of the south island tour visiting the volcanoeslunch came after the drive through the lava fields and the earlier camel ridevery happy cheerful hostscanarian soup as a starter really flavoursome with crusty bread followed by a choice of fish or chicken, both in breadcrumbs. the portion was enormouse but with a small side salad only which I would have preferred to have less chicken and more salad. plenty of wine on the table.really clean and tidy thrughout

On way to a meeting in playa Blanca from Costa Calero, too early for breakfast at the hotel. Spotted this amazing cafe in the petrol station. We thought we'd grab a coffee and a donut - how wrong could we be. The chef showed us a freshly cooked leg of pork and suggested a bocadillo with the pork and local cheese. I can say without hesitation it's the best breakfast in my whole stay in Lanzarote. So even although it's primarily a cafe in a garage we intend to come back to sample the tapas too. It's spotless, nicely decorated and the staff are wonderful. What a delightful start to the day!
