Typical spanish bar in the pueblo. Lots of locals use it as do expats and tourists. Great cheap food, cheap prices. Service okay but sadly, not very often with a smile! Worth a visit though. We are locals and go regularly. Lovely views from the street to the countryside beyond.

This is a Spanish restaurant generally serving Spanish food. Very authentic restaurant with really attentive and friendly staff. Menu del dia is great value for money. Go to the restaurant feeling hungry. In addition to the normal three courses you will receive bread and dips plus a large salad........

Four of us visited at lunchtime, what a find. Great welcome, very authentic. Drinks very cheap, felt like we were actually in Spain! Well worth a visit, a great experience.

This was our first visit to Villa Martin on our last night in the area, and it was a lovely last evening. Our food was served quite quickly and was cooked to perfection. No complaints from anyone in our group of 4, drinks were ok too if a bit more expensive than down on the coast but we'd definitely return in the future.

If you are hungry and have a huge appetite, this is the place for you! Huge portion of menu Del Dia for 10 euro including your drink! I was served with a huge plate of mix salad, then something similar to paella which was delicious, grilled chicken with vegetables and their very sinful but delicious crème caramel! Wow, i really enjoyed my lunch!

Was excited to stop here for our last night together. We were not greeted and once we asked if the place was open, we sat down and ordered a bottle of wine. Was served with no ice bucket, we had to request. OK not a major issue. We then ordered starters, I had the burrato - â¬10 - a lump of mozzarella with sliced tomatoes around it and a smudge of pesto on the top of the cheese. Ridiculous. My company ordered sizzling mushrooms - no sizzle and no heat. One of the mains - the chicken and mushroom sauce with mash - served cold and the chicken was dry- â¬15. We were served no bread or oil or salt and pepper either throughout. My main was sole with vegetables - a couple of sliced carrots and courgettes. So.. It seems that the menu and the chef is trying to being a la carte? But we are all left confused... It's not a la carte quality but pushing a la carte prices. It's basic food. Great surroundings but would sadly not visit again.

This is the first time we've been to this restaurant and albeit good value for money, felt very disappointed with the quality of the food. I ordered horsdouvres, which the waitress described as hams and cheeses. I was expecting Spanish ham but it was processed English type ham and processed cheese. My main course of breaded cuttlefish was just not good. Probably an unwise choice but there was very little else in the menu that appealed! My husband's paella was OK but not a patch on the paella he's just had in the other popular restaurant in San Miguel.Efficient service and obviously good value but we won't be back!

To be honest, this restaurant doesnât look like much from the outside, but step inside and thatâs where it all changes. Beautiful interior, fantastically friendly staff and delicious food. The menu del dÃa had something for everyone - even the fussy teenagers - and we all enjoyed every mouthful. Priced at just â¬9.50, for bread, salad, three courses plus a drink or half a bottle of wine, itâs amazing value for money, considering the great quality of the food. Thanks for a lovely lunch, canât wait to return!

We visited as guests of a friend for a night of entertainment and a meal. The evening was over subscribed and although the entertainment was excellent the bar system left a lot to be desired. Whether this is the norm as the venue does put on major horse shows as entertainment but we had to attend an inadequately staffed bar to firstky pay cash for our "monopoly money" vouchers in order to.purchase.our drinks. Then when the undoubtedly wrong amount of vouchers have been purchased you are "paid" in "monopoly money" vouchers again as change..meaning you can only redeem them on site..similar to playing Bingo in Blackpool!!!The food was good and as I said our entertainment was 1st class it was just 0 bar that left a lot to be desired. Maybe that was down to numbers and the fact it was 99% british audience so frequent visits to.the bar were inevitable!!
