We visited for a very late lunch. Both had âarroz cremosoâ or risotto with mushrooms and parmiggiano, which was cooked brilliantly and tasted great. Rest of the menu seemed interesting, but hard to comprehend given no english version was available, and none of the staff spoke any english really. Would recommend visiting anyway, the place seems great.

There are places where you feel as if you are in your own home. The Restaurant "El Patio de Benitez" is one. Not only because of the atmosphere loved by all, but also for its menu. High quality food, cooked well with a blend of tradition and innovation. G
Very nice place to visit with family and friends and really nice decoration, great tapas menu and drinks, has a nice terrace in the middle with few tables. The worst thing is that they have many plates in the menu so you rally get confused of so many dishes. Thanks for your comments.

We were invited by two friends from San Fernando. If the restaurant was any closer it would be in the water and apparently outside you can paddle while you eat! The view across the bay is a perfect back drop. Inside is quite basic but there is a good atmosphere. Book to be sure of a table. Friendly waiting staff. We had a selection of food to share, papas alinadas, green peppers, camarones, dirty choco and an enormous lenguado. All absolutely fresh and delicious. Although we were not allowed to pay he bill was reasonable. Can't wait for the next visit.

La Fieera should be on your 'must do list'. Real and proper Italian Food. Great ingredients and all homemade. The service is really great, always with a big smile. And for what they offer it's not expensive!! Well done, guys. Proud to be Italian/Sicilian.

A place with charm and very friendly service. You can see that they are passionate about their quality food. Amazing cheese and ham. If you want to try the real flavour of Spain stop here. You can also buy products to take.

These are the five essences that we want to transmit to an esteemed and careful clientele, sensations that make up DeJavier TaperÃa, a gastronomic reference in the center of San Fernando. The Island of León. Besides the good treatment to the clients, for
Just returned from the most wonderful Tapas lunch at this very unassuming, but tastefully decorated, tapas restaurant in the heart of San Fernando...The staff were impeccable and extremely friendly...We were seated immediately, given our menus and drinks order taken...We were so impressed with the menu to begin with, then came the first of our dishes the Pate de Carabineros...Oh my word what a treat, comes in a small jar with crackers and it was indeed cracking! Fantastic flavours and a wow...We also ordered the Takita of Tuna which was cooked to perfection, seared perfectly with a hint of sesame and on a bed of a fine seaweed and an incredibly light sauce, just beautiful...Next we had the Pulpo (octopus) again melt in the mouth (very difficult to achieve indeed) on a bed of patatas bravas...alongside this we also had the nicest lamb stew served with shiitake mushrooms and a cream and basil sauce...All portions were perfectly sized for two to share..We ended our feast with the Chocolate and Walnut Brownie on slices of Plantain with a gorgeous chocolate sauce and a light chocolate ice cream...Incredibly well priced at 65 euros for two with drinks...You can't be vexed with that...we will be visiting again in the next few days, it was such a treat!!

Bar of original lids, where all the dia there is some innovation imagination and very much fondness they are our principal ingredients
Nice little tapas restaurant. We spoke no Spanish, they spoke no English, we forgot the guide book with food/menu translations in it, so picked out a few choices and waited to see what turned up. It was all nice, even the Croquetas Mysteriosas! The gentleman dealing with us was very friendly and patient, and I like to think we gave him little trouble either, all added up to what turned out to be an enjoyable evening.

We have been in Spain for nine days so far, including Seville and Cadiz where the meals were wonderful. However, the absolute best meal we've had, thus far, in Spain, was at Latascona in San Fernando, Spain. The food was not only fresh, but prepared in a creative manner adding a touch of unexpected spices and sauces. Everything was light and flavorful. The service was excellent as was the wine selection. The decor was minimalistic but warm, blond wood tables, open, inviting and casual. This restaurant can compete with any we've experienced in a lot of travel as well as in the big cities of the US. Bravo! San Fernando is somewhat off the beaten track and not reviewed in all the guidebooks but it is worth a visit when in the area of Cadiz and first stop must be Latascona.

At Pazo de Iria you can enjoy quality dishes from around the world. You can enjoy your meal at our large glass enclossed terrace, bar section or main room.
We went for a special meal with friends for St Valentines. The food was superb and excellent value for money.Although fully booked the service couldnât be faulted especially by our waiter David who speaks fluent English.
