Out in the boonies North of Mendoza in Villa Union, a place Lonely Planet never even heard of, but a convenient stop-over on the drive from Mendoza to Catamarca, we stayed at the hotel Pircas Negras and dined in their simple but good restaurant La Ramada. For appetizers we had the empanadas riojanas al horno (with mushroom), for mains we enjoyed the meat lasagna with bechamel sauce as well as the tenderloin steak with mushrooms. We had a glass of white wine for starters and a bottle of 2010 Chanarmuyo Tannat Reserva from the area. The food was simple but enjoyable, as was the service and the total bill came to USD42 - we were happy customers!

âEl mesÃ³n andaluzâ es atendido personalmente por su dueÃ±o, que en realidad es valenciano. De allÃ las excelentes paellas y la fideuÃ¡, imperdible. Muy buena atenciÃ³n y calidad. Altamente recomendable

EstÃ¡ bueno visitar estÃ© Restaurant !! Se encuentra fuera del centro, junto al Hotel. tiene una ambientaciÃ³n muy agradable! Con una atenciÃ³n rÃ¡pida y unas ofertas de Platos Peruanos. Se puede solicitar otros, pero Ã©stos platos son la base de su carta.Abundantes y con muy buena presentaciÃ³n, tal como la gastronÃ³mica Peruana. Precio/ calidad excelente. Me gusto realmente visitarlos.
