Cocina variada, moderna y tradicional, cerca plaza Carballo en centro histórico de Aviles. Siempre animado, con la cocina a la vista del comedor y una terraza posterior descubierta.
This bar/restaurant is in an area of several others in a charming old part of Aviles. At 1st sight it looks classier than it's neighbours, with its modern tasteful decor. That helps create a relaxed comfortable ambience but is not the real reason to visit. That reason is the food! I had probably the best Chiperones in years and an imaginative and beautifully presented cheese board. The wine was excellent, and the service friendly helpful and efficient. It's probably a little more expensive, but not lots more expensive. It's on my list to revisit.

A great place to have a "different" hamburguer and fryes. Great way of making them with first class meat and the fryes are incredible!!You will really enjoy it, it differs totally from your usual "Burguer" place, this is 1st class and you will have a good experience also great values for money and many other sopecialties to try from....wont regret the visit.

La Marina is a fantastic little wine bar. It is very nicely decorated and has a warm feeling to it. There is ample selection of quality Spanish wines to choose from though you are not limited to only wine as good beers and spirits are also on offer. The tapas here are excellent and I would highly recommend the "lomos de atun" however, the home made "callos" are a must. You can either sit outside or stay inside, but nonetheless the atmosphere of the bar is something to envy. The owners are excellent hosts, they are very welcoming and each time I have gone there I have felt at home. All in all, the combination of the people, location, atmosphere and the quality of food makes this bar/restaurant a northern Spanish gem.

Small and friendly. Not a tourist haunt (though it's close to the areas they visit), and all the better for it. Good food at a good price. Highly recommended. Dear guest:It's an honor for us to recieve our first Tripadvisor comment in English and to note that it's so positive. As you could see we don't speak that language and although we try to mitigate this matter with our best spirit and effort, it isn't easy to serve foreign visitors properly (thank you very much for your understanding).Anayway, when you have a polite and friendly client as you, everything is always easier.Thank you again for your words. We hope to see you again at our home: you can be sure that it would be a great pleasure.Best regards.

The best wine bar in Avilés. Gerardo (the owner/bartender) is an expert oenologist who also makes the best mixed drinks in town. His gin-and-tonic is spectacular.Gerardo's wife, Paloma, originally from Logroño, is a fantastic chef with a Midas touch. Her "menestra de verduras" is beyond compare. And the location in Sabugo, the old fishermen's querters of Aviles, doesn't hurt, either. If you have been good, reward yourself with a visit. And if you have been bad and go to El Pañol, all your sins will be forgiven.

Had booked our table at 1.45pm which is an early lunch for local standards. So we got a table overlooking Salinas seafront, Splendid low tide for starters!Elaborate cuisine but above all excellent fresh fish. We had anchovies and sardines followed by red tuna tataki, hake and bonito. To finish we opted for the selection board of local cheeses... A must.Great Albariño from Galicia. We agreed that this restaurant, had reached top of our list after just one visit. Costly? Maybe, but well worth every cent. Would definitely come back.

Pasaje Roma is a family business founded on January 2015 and specialized in tapas and plates. We want you to feel welcomed with a good atention, home-made food and popular prices.
Initially was a bit unsure as it looked like a cafe with not much atmosphere, but I was wrong. The young man was so hospitable and very patient with our dreadful Spanish and hesitant ordering. The food was freshly cooked and delicious . Plenty of it and as usual we ordered far too much. A fabulous find and well worth a visit. Dear reigatebec:Thank you so much for your opinion and it was a pleasure for us to make you feel comfortable at our bar.We take up your words about yours first feelings at the entrance and we are gonna make some actions at the establishment to look more like a cafe/bar with freshly cooked food.We hope everything is going well.Best regards from our family.

A traditional Asturian house which has been transformed into a spacious and luminous restaurant. The food is characterised by ingredients of the best quality, acknowledgement of tradition, application of modern technique and a little love. Everything is delicious, but a special mention for the bonito in escabeche and the chocolate tart, which is the best I have ever eaten. The wine list is carefully chosen to complement the food. The team are professional and charming. It represents outstanding value for money. I recommend it wholeheartedly.

If you are ever close to Piedras Blancas, you have to come. We go quite often and love it. It's a wine bar but even the tap beer is brilliant. And not to mention the 'pincho'.... it is amazing how elaborated they are and always very tasty. Quality.

Just had another incredible meal at restaurant Diego. 4 course for â¬30 euros per person including wine and coffee. May sound expensive to other restaurants in the area but the quality of the food is unbeatable. My favourite restaurant in Asturias, counting the seconds to go back.
