With four people we took a table on the terrace and we ordered a menu-del-dia.Immediately we smelled a pungent odor. We thought at first that the cat, who was walking on the terrace had urinated under our table, but therefor the odor was to strong. It soon appeared that the waiter spread this bad air around him.The likely cause: Sweating many days without taking a shower and without having changed his T-shirt.With each visit from him at our table, > or even when he passed<, we were confronted with this stench. Unfortunately we had already ordered, so leaving was not an option anymore..Incomprehensible, that his colleagues had not corrected him. Even a dead man would still smell this guy. We've eaten as quickly as possible, so we could leave this unpleasant atmosphere.

Locals and tourists mix together to enjoy a slightly modern twist on Spanish classics at reasonable prices - only complaint were the mosquitos! Maybe some lemon-eucalypus candles to keep them mozzies at bay?

Located opposite the Castell de Peralada is the Grill del Celler, where you can have breakfast, lunch and dinner. You can also celebrate childrenâs birthdays or have group meals here. The menu includes a wide variety of appetizers and a selection of the b
We had a business meeting early evening. The service is extremely slow. The ambience is good and so is the choice of wines. Good is average. Thank you very much for sharing your opinion. We take all the reviews to continue improving day by day. We hope that in your next visit we can be 100% up to your expectations.

Centuries of culinary tradition creatively reinterpreted. Discover familiar dishes like youâve never seen them before. Cuisine based on traditional, quality products from the land and sea of the Emporda region, presented in surprising and avant-garde prop
This restaurant located on a golf course is beautiful with a lovely modern decor but we regretfully cannot agree with other patrons as the environment and service are not all that count in a restaurant. There is also the small matter of something called food.Perhaps we should have opted for the daily menu because what we chose âà la carteâ was pretty average not to say bland. The starters were alright but then you cannot go wrong with salad and grilled vegetables. Can you? The main courses were tasteless and the choice on the dessert menu top heavy with ice cream.Apart from the wine from the property which was excellent, we do not keep a memorable souvenir.

A contemporary take on Empordà cuisine. This is the essence of Castell Peralada Restaurant. After years of success at El Bulli and Mas Pau, chef Xavier Sagristà and head waiter and sommelier Toni Gerez, have designed an offer of haute cuisine that reinter
I was a part of a group of classic cars. We had an early dinner here. The place is historic and very well maintained. The food was superb and so was the service. A must visit place. Amoureux du poisson arrêtez vous. Terrasse sympa. Il faut réserver. Beaucoup de choix y compris de coquillages. Nous avons découvert les telinnes, petit coquillages très fin. C est vraiment très bon. Ce sont avant tout des pêcheurs. N' hésitez pas.

Very lively local restaurant with authentic food. The food was average. However a couple of dishes like the snails and rabbit were good. The service was average, not too attentive.

Nice dinner in the historic interior, with elegant tables. Being in a large group, we had mixed feelings regarding the food. Some of the dishes were outstanding, like a beef tail or fish. The others quite average, like pasta with prawns, or langustine salad. The service and the wine choice were faultless. The place to return.

Taken here by Catalan friends, who really rated it - and we totally understand why. It is a restaurant that has only relatively recently opened, but is renown for having an excellent chef. The Menu del DÃa was fantastic value for money. Difficult to recommend dishes, as most of the menu changes daily. There are certain dishes at extra cost, which seem to be more constant, such as the beef chop, and the snails. Our creps stuffed with vegetables as an entrée were delicious, but so was the John Dory. The house wine was also very good. However you will be hard put to find a better Crema Catalana. Including one extra dish, wine, water and coffees, the meal came to â¬70 for 4 people. Not easy to beat that. One important tip.....this is not a big restaurant, and locals rate it highly, so you would be well advised to book, as people were being turned away at one point yesterday.Good Morning. Thank you for your review. We are very thankful about all the details that you wrote down before. Thank you so much for enjoy the meal for know about us and for visit us. Thank you so much, we hope to see you again. Kind regards,
