Is not in the old city center surrounded by big walls but it pays a visit! Excellent food!!! Big amount of fresh calamari fritti (calamares de la rÃa a la romana). The tempura is not specially interesting. The provolone was tasty but very simple made in the oven with some mushrooms. The rice was delightful, well cooked, tasty and we ate it all! Homemade desserts... original and tasty: we loved âEsenciaâ with pistacchio and black tea icecream!

Si bien es el restaurante del hotel Coto Real en Rabade, creo que merece una crÃtica aparte
This is one of the best Assador Restaurants that I have experienced. Their specialty is the fresh Lamb al horno which is superb. Also great appetizers like Chipirones en su tinta, tomate slices with ventresca de Atún, olive oil, opinion, Modena vinegar. Great wine cellar.Expensive, but excellent. Free parking. It is about 15 minutes from Lugo city. José Campo, CHA

We had a very nice birthday lunch in this restaurant on Sunday, with a shared starter of prawns with garlic and a main dish of t bone steak which was delicious and a shared dessert of chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream, all enjoyed with a nice bottle of Mencia red wine great bread and coffee, the staff are very friendly and the restaurant is nice but it was a little bit cold as the weather was horrible, but a very enjoyable day.

Nice place. Kitchen is open before other resturants.Just 2 minutes from the Alberguie. The food is good. Quite a wide menu.Reasonable prices.Only problem was the two children rolling around the floor, insisting that the TV channel be changed to suit them. Children shouldn't be in a bar at any time.

We had lunch at the OPote and it was very nice we shared a starter of croquettes followed by two huge sirloin steaks which we struggled to finish so no hope of dessert but we had a nice wine and coffees, it was a very nice experience.

Totally agree with previous reviewsSuperbly executed dishes created with passion by Miguel ( the chef who spoke to us after our meal). Divine Navajas, Mouth watering desserts but for me the highlight was the sublime Galician Beef. Laid back ambience but with attentive service. If you are in Melide, I highly recommend dining here. The restaurant also has accomadation which my friends & I stayed overnight during our Camino. Spotlessly clean & well appointed.Thank you Miguel & the Team.

With only 18 covers we count ourselves very lucky to have dined there this evening.Very professional and knowledgable staff. The service standard was very high. Our servers knowledge of the wines available was remarkable enabling us to choose with confidence. The meal we choose was excellent and so filling. The waiter was excellent.

The special of our restaurant is the galician meat for our burguers. Also we offer a breakfast with fresh orange juice, cofee, eggs, bacon, croissant and other things! We are open at 9.00 am to 23.00 pm and have all day a changing pilgrim menu. We're play
We are here several times whilst staying in Baamonde during our Camino. The staff were really friendly and the food was great. Everything is cooked fresh and really affordable. The orange juice and scrambled eggs were delicious, the best we had during our Camino. Visit if you can!

We loved this little restaurant. The chef was great to accommodate a change to the menu for us and grilled the octopus instead of serving it boiled. The scallops were phenomenal and the staff couldn't have been nicer to some pilgrims on the Camino. I would absolutely come here again to try more things! Thanks for a great evening!
