We had the 49⬠menu (1 appetizer + 3 starters+ 1 main dish + 1 desert per person + 1 bottle of wine for two) since it had a very decent price when compared to the menu.Regarding the food, the highlights were the appetizer (crispy vegetable crepe with seafood cream on the side), the starter with grilled artichokes and the modern desert based on the oh-so-traditional "arroz con leche". The other dishes were good but somewhat "oily" for my taste. The service had some minor flaws, which are unnecessary in this kind of place: dishes were served on a rush and not properly presented, plates were removed too soon (while one of the people was still eating), still the pace was rather slow (we were left a considerable amount of time waiting before being handed the menu). Nevertheless, all of these would go unnoticed, if it wasn't for the very elegant and classic environment of the restaurant, which made me expect a high-standard service. The lady "in charge" (you'll get who she is as soon as you see her) is a lovely character and makes you feel welcomed.

Meson El Sol is a perfectly fine bar with good service and nice pintxos. It is a smart bar and one that I liked, but it didnât feel as cosy or nicely âordinaryâ as other bars in the village (I particularly like cosy and ordinary!).

It would be easy to bypass this restraint as looking it it appears to be no more than a cafe. Believe me there is more. Once committed we were taken through to a more formal dining area at the back. We chose the Menu de Dia â¬22 and were served 3 starters 1 main 1 desert. With wine and bread. The waitress did no speak English and our Spanish is limited so ordering was entertaining. For a reasonably priced meal I would definitely return here. Hi, Thanks so much for your visit and opinion. We are are doing all the possible to improve little details. Now we have staff who can speak English not perfectly but sufficient for help with any doubt. We are so glad that you like our restaurant and hope see you in the future!Kind regards,

Spaniards eat late, so we got to the restaurant about 8:45, it was empty, and we left before 10, it was still empty. Had jamon iberica to start, it was good, but you cant really get that wrong! Had the cows meat with cheese for mains and it was too fatty and yndercooked (they offered it "en su punto" and it was too pink for me) after re-cooking, it was ok, but the meat was so fatty, I couldnt eat it all. Otherwise, the waitress was nice, attentative and, strangely, in a place as remote as this, Russian! The price was ok, 65 euros for 2 including 1 bottle of wine. Enjoy!

...that speaks barely any English but are adept at communicating with their guests on every topic - from helping us navigate the menu to explaining details of the décor. Truly, the staff made this place thoroughly enjoyable, and the food was rustic and delicious without breaking the bank.TIP: They have two "spaces": a first floor and an upper restaurant space that we got to by following the staff through some marvelously convoluted stairways. (Perhaps there's another entrance?) But the point is, they have different menus and the lunch specials advertised outside the restaurant is served in one, and not the other.

We went to Casa del Preboste on a Friday night and the place was buzzing with lots of couple, families and groups enjoying the ambience of the place. It was a little noisy given the number of people there. The food was ok and the drive was good. It is fine for a quick meal.

The staff did a great job of interpreting the menu for us. We had a nice 3 course meal including local wine, which was quite drinkable, and water, for 22eu each. Food was very nicely prepared, nothing exceptional about it. It's in a small hotel, hard to find, but worth it if you want a change.

Only stated one night at this Parador and because of past dining experiences at Paradores decided to eat in the restaurant. First rate service. Lovely local food and wine. Weâll be back. Thank you

For a second night in a row, we ate at Zanito. Why? Because the meal the first night was fabulous! And, again tonight it was exceptional. We had the Hake which was served with scalloped potatoes and had a very light lemon butter sauce. It was presented beautifully, and tasted even better than it looked. Our appetizer was crepes stuffed with shrimp and spinach and served with an asparagus sauce. Delicate but flavorful. For desert we had the pudding which was a cross between cream cheese and flan, and served with sorbet. If we weren't leaving, we would be back again tomorrow. Oh, and did I mention that the meal came with as much wine and water as you might want for E25 a person? A real bargain, but a meal far better than the price would suggest.

This is a very popular place in Olite and consistently score well and there are good reasons - excellent food, good service and great value for money. We arrived for dinner with two other couple, services was friendly and courteous and the menu excellent. From tapas to a la carte to a fixed price. We ordered the padron peppers to share ( stunning), then had the duck confit and the pork confit - both were stunning, moist, tender and flakey with wonderful sauce. This was really melt in the mouth taste. We also had wine between ( two glasses each) and the price was 50 Euros. There was much to like about this place - but the food was stunning. Go and enjoy
