Find out what Spanish restaurants to try in O Grove. Mingle with cheerful fishermen in the pleasant village of O Grove. Wide, soft sand beaches meet exquisite and clean waters on this Spanish peninsula, which are as celebrated for their fruitful fish bounty as they are their beauty. Unsurprisingly, O Grove holds an epic annual seafood festival in October, where you can savor sinfully fresh shellfish while you pay homage to the gods of the sea.

A really big surprise on my last trip to Spain. You walk in there and think this is going to be an ordinary lunch, but the sirloin I had was one of the best I have had in my life! (Only Kobe, Japan was better).

The desert was a pie of Orujo - a great surprise. The service impeccable. Very authentic. The tapas were the best, congratulations to the chef. Must try the huevos rotos and the croquetas de jamon.

If you're visiting this zone of Galicia, don't miss Taberna Meloxeira. Incredible local productos prepared on a internacional way. Cheap and very taste, it is a great experiencia. The waiters are super helpful on choosing and very nice staff. Don't miss it, and don't forget to book in advanced and ask for terrace. Taste Galician wine Godello!

Came in late near 11pm and they let us in. Ate some delicious octopus and fresh squids followed by slow cooked pork cheeks so tender that they melted in our mouth. Delicious and well priced restaurant. Would love to go again.

When planning our 2 week trip around Northern Spain the gastronomic highlight was supposed to be the visit to DâBerto variously described as the âbest seafood restaurant in the worldâ. I booked months in advance to make sure we secured a table and expectations were high. It was a very disappointing experience. We asked for recommendations for the starter and main course. The waiter suggested a mixture of clams, cockles and scallops to start, and he indicated a whole fried sea bass served with chips for the mIn course. Sounded great so we placed that order. The starter was served but without the scallops but additional clams. Ok we are not going to make a fuss about that. The main course was not a whole sea bass but 2 pan fried fillets accompanied with undercooked whole potatoes and some rather sorry looking cabbage. It was very ordinary indeed. Iâve cooked better at home. When we requested the chips he promised they eventually arrived almost when we had finished the fish and again were not cooked properly. This was a poor meal served in a near empty restaurant without any care or love. I can see from the many positive reviews that many people have had a great meal here but on this showing I doubt itâs the best seafood restaurant in O Grove

We had lunch yesterday at Lavandeiro. Everything was delicious. As starters we had one salad , one octopus, one empanada. Afterwards we shared one mariscada with centollo which was delicious . We were still hungry so we shared solomillo (also awesome). To finish , as dessert we enjoyed white chocolate pudding, cannoli and cheesecake . Service was extremely friendly and efficient making the whole experience unforgettable!

This place is so popular you have to get there early to get a table (or wait). We were lucky to get a table without waiting and it didn't disappoint. The menu is limited, but what they do offer are large portions at reasonable prices, and excellent qualiy too. Make sure you order the home made wine - at 1euro a glass!!! We were so impressed we went 3 nights in a row!!!thank you very much for everything. We hope to see you again. a greeting from bar or peirao.

A colleague recommended this place, and we were not disappointed. The tasting menu offered a seemingly never ending array of small beautifully presented and very tasteful dishes. We loved how the kitchen each time managed to bring out the crispness and freshness of the ingredients. Service was in the beginning a bit stroppy, but got friendly as we progressed in our dinner. Interesting was that we were given a timeframe for our lunch (2hrs15mins for the tasting menu) which was kept, even though we didn't ask for it. The setting is somewhat formal, but the views are great. A pleasant surprise was the final bill, where "extras" such as the bottled water and glasses of wine were charged at very decent prices. We had the pleasure to meet the chef after dinner, who explained us the philosophy of his cooking and especially also the sourcing of the ingredients, from local small producers that apply the rules of biodynamic farming. We'd love to come back!

We visited this restaurant for a business lunch. Service was excellent and attentive. Wine list was full of fantastic small boutique local offerings with a few more well known names thrown in for those who donât recognize the others. Without question, the freshest seafood Iâve ever had, and I own a waterfront restaurant. Exceptional seafood cooking. Would gladly return again.
