In Maringo you will find authentic seafood. Some dishes may take you back to the traditional tastes such as "Ceviche Vallarta" or the classic "Agua Chile", while others break away from convention and their flavors merge (blend) to make your soul dance suc
This place has been opened for only a month. The owner Rebecca told us we were the second foreigners to try her restaurant. At this time they only offer ceviches a few tacos and quesadillas (reason for 3stars) They allow you to build your own with a good selection of seafood. The portions are good sized with a selection of salsas. They have a full bar and the staff is helpful and friendly. They plan to expand their menu next month. They are working through their learning experience and I think they have a good chance to succeed. They do have very good ice cream and the owner asked us to try a new flavor they just got in peanut (not peanut butter) it was great. The prices are very reasonable worth a try if you enjoy ceviche. Mr Bob! Thank you very much for your visit and your comments! Looking forward to see you soon so you can try our night menu.

We went here for lunch but arrived late. They still had a small menu and we were very pleased. They served us wonderfully prepared tacos, salad, and Margarita. Then desert was Pecan Pie with icecream. The coffee was served with piping hot cream and the waiter Frankie was amazing! The air was cool, the marina quiet, and we enjoyed a peaceful and delightful meal. I highly recommend this place!

This place was AMAZING. We were greeted by the boss, Sam and iur waiter was Carlos. We ate the steak bruschetta with blue cheese as an appetizer and great. Carlos was insistent on his wine recommendation and WOW, it couldn't have been more perfect, we ordered 2. The meals we ate were creamy pesto fettucini with chicken and so filling. The flank steak was so tender it cut like butter. We had passionfruit sorbet and topped it off with the best champagne!! Thank you for an incredible evening!!!Hi Twinzie! I am very happy that your experience in LOMA 42 BAHÃA has been excellent, for us it is very important to know the opinion of our guests to continue offering a good service. See you soon back. :)

I have never rated any Vidanta restaurant less than 4 stars before, but last night's experience was a big disappointment. We were anxious to try Chiringuito since it is one of the few Vidanta restaurants at Nuevo Viarta and Riviera Maya that we haven't tried and enjoyed immensely. We had Open Table reservations at 7pm and arrived promptly. There was some confusion about where to seat us, but we were finally seated a good distance from the flamenco dancer floor show. Our waiter was very slow to greet us at our table. When he finally arrived he asked us for our drink order. I surveyed the wine list and ordered a nice bottle of Chilean Chardonnay. After 10 minutes or so the waiter returned to advise me that they didn't have any bottles of white wine for sale, but we could order by the glass. I asked if they had any bottles of red they would like to sell. He left and returned about 15 minutes later with the bottle of Chilean Chardonnay I had initially ordered. It was cold and quite good. Then came the food orders. We had advised them of my wife's gluten and seafood allergy when we made our reservation and the website clearly states that gluten free options are available. The waiter wasn't well versed in the gluten free dishes and for each item we inquired about he had to leave to visit the kitchen. We were surprised that even the gazpacho wasn't gluten free. My wife finally ordered a ribeye steak that was gristly, poorly seasoned, and tasteless. She only ate about a fourth of it and the rest wasn't worth taking back to our room. I ordered the crab canaloni which was passable. Our daughter ordered the tenderloin open face sandwiches with brie cheese and she thought they were very good. Our grandson ordered shrimp skewers with French fries which he enjoyed immensely. Then came the plate clearing which seemed to take forever. My wife tried for the vanilla ice cream when it came to dessert and, you guessed it, it wasn't gluten free. Overall, this was a disappointing experience and certainly not up to the usual Vidanta standards of excellence.Dear dvheminger,Thanks a lot for sharing your experience with us. We are pleased to learn your children enjoyed their dishes. However, we are sorry to hear that we were unable to meet all of your expectations. This is a small dining venue in the La Plaza part of the Vidanta resort complex. It has a wide variety of tacos and other small plate offerings which we found ideal for a lunch time meal. Although many apparently go there for dinner, it is outside seating and in our opinion, better suited for lunches or snacks than a full meal. But if you are only looking for a relatively quick meal it is a great choice.Appreciated golfer_diner, We would love to thank you for your wonderful comments about our restaurant. We are pleased to know that you enjoyed our tacos. Our goal is to make each one of our guestsâ vacations relaxing and comments like yours enable our continued pursuit of improvement for perfection on our daily performance. Your feedback is always valuable. It will be a privilege to serve you again!Happily,Tacos Break Restaurant Nuevo Vallarta Management.
