I love to shop local and find the little known shops that only the "insiders" seem to know about. Tucked away in a little street surrounded by auto repair shops and boutiques, you wouldn't even notice it as you drove by. They've been in business since 1955 and they're still there. They have both sit in and carry out dinners. On this trip, I had the Carne Asada Quesadilla, There was so much food I didn't think I could eat it all.A must go to place for Mexican food in Montrose.

We love their "Green" sauce in their dishes. Light, cheezy, mild, and very likeable. Very very good Green Chile Relleno, excellent "Chicken Enchilada Ranchera ala Carte" for a light meal with the green sauce. My favorite for a light lunch. Ample chips with red salsa, either spicy or mild.Manny & Ana's motto: Abuelitaâs RecipesWe are not big on the heavy Mole sauces nor the Red Spicy sauces, so their Ranchera sauce really fits our pallet. When we are in a more celebratory mood, we choose the "Shrimp Enchilada", chock full of baby shrimp in a mushroom cream sauce. Typically two Enchiladas, but we "share" it and it is quite sufficient for our needs. Coupled with their margarita, we are well sated without being over stuffed.Manny and Ana are super friendly, making this restaurant like 'old home. A bit of a "Cantina" atmosphere especially with the area off the main dining room. We've been regulars since they took over almost 2 decades ago. Sunday brunch served.

The staff is friendly and the food is what you expect. The chicken salad is still their best item I think with the cilantro dressing and the drive through is convenient
