We went around 9 pm on a week day. There were patrons already eating at two other tables, they literally had 6 employees working at the time, and still our food took a long time for them to serve it. Although the pupusas were really tasty, I think it will be a while before I return.

I love coming here for their tapas. They have a great lunch special, reasonably priced. They also have specials on certain nights, like paella night, which is so good. Their brunch is also really nice. All the food tastes very fresh. The restaurant is in a great location in downtown Frederick.

We are BIG fans and very loyal customers of Santa Rosa for several years. Their Fajitas are awesome! We also regularly enjoy the plantains with cream and refried beans. We decided to pick up dinner instead of eating out so we explored the menu a bit more than usual. We ordered the soft steak tacos which were burnt and hardly palatable. The plantains we ordered with cream and refried beans as always, were missing the cream. The burrito we shared was average. We were disappointed this time. I hope this isn't the new normal!?
