As the first place in Spain to see the sunrise, Minorca is like the country’s ambassador to the morning. Beaches here are beautiful and, surprisingly, relatively empty. The jewel-colored water is a magnet for waterskiers, windsurfers and sailors. Playa De Binigaus beach is perfect for families, while Cala Mitjana is an idyllic spot for romance. Head to the town of Alaoir to nibble on some fresh local cheese or turn back time in the charming fishing village of Fornells.

A family run bar serving a wide selection of home made tapas, many gluten free and suitable for vegetarians. Open Tuesday to Sunday from 9am to 12.30pm for coffee and drinks.Kitchen open serving Tapas from 7pm to 10.30 pm .Mondays Closed. Please note that
The first restaurant we visited in Cala en Porter having seen the reviews beforehand; it did not disappoint and we went back a second time. A huge range of tapas, can recommend particularly the lamb empanadas, salt and pepper squid and the patatas bravas which come with a gorgeous chili sauce. Decent house wine, too. Very popular so you need to get in early, but so good that people are willing to wait for a table.Appears to be run by Brits but the food is definitely Spanish!

Can Tanu is a small restaurant created with passion and love of the sea. Can Tanu comes from a family of fishermen. Sebastian Garriga is already the third generation of the family that every day leaves at dawn to fish the desired lobster of Fornells. Pila
After being recommended to try the lobster soup here -we hired a car from Port Mahon and drove to Fornells, It was so disappointing it was unbelievable.I was charged 65 Euros for a bowl of watery tasteless liquid with a few lobster shells which was meant to be a stew! The lobster I did have was tough and there was so little of it I actually left hungry. My partner's meal was not any better having the local soup and fish platter again left much to be desired. We paid in total about 100 Euros for the worst experience of our holiday.

There are several restaurants along the beachfront in Punta Prima, we experienced most of them whilst staying nearby and this was our favourite.Great salads, our chulata (sharing steak cooked on the open fire) was excellent as were the accompanying sauces. Tapas were good enough. All the beachfront restaurants have similar menus but the food was a notch up at this one. Still a touristy restaurant but perfectly enjoyable for relaxing lunches or dinners by the sea. Donât expect fine dining but the food is fresh and tasty, and the waiters/waitresses looked after us well. The Hito red wine was recommended by the waiter and was excellent.Thank you so much for your kind words!our food is fresh and everything is prepared at the moment!hope to see you soon again to taste some more dishes!best regards

Information: We will be closed from 1st October 2018 until 1st April 2019. See you soon! Marlet Grill BBQ
During our holiday at the Carema Club, we had an amazing anniversary dinner. We had parrillada Argentina which had many meat items plus potatoes and corn on the cob. A lovely cold rose from Navarra was the perfect wine to go with all that meat. We were very full after the main but we couldn't resist a very tasty chocolate fondant!!Service was first class by Ernestina and the rest of the staff. Dear Luciano242.Thank you very much for your warm words. We are really glad that you enjoyed your anniversary dinner. We hope to see you soon. All the best. The management.

New informal restaurant where you can taste a fresh food and market all absolutely homemade
I don't often write reviews but this restaurant was so good it needed one. The best food we have had in Menorca. We went for the set menu. It was all so perfectly cooked and presented. Absolutely delicious. The waitress was also so friendly, and helped us to practice our Spanish. She was very patient with us! Muchos gracias! Can't recommend enough!

Have been to Menorca scores of times but never to this magical place. Set in the most atmospheric surroundings you could ever imagine there is an aura of peace and tranquility surrounding the dining area and it would be impossible to think of a more relaxing place in which to dine and totally `unwind`.The food is good with a wide enough choice to suit most palates, a good selection of wines available and the staff are superb, being helpful, friendly and charming at all times.Set in the hills a few miles out of Mercadal this is one of those special places that travelers encounter very rarely and if afforded the chance please try this wonderful establishment.

All inclusive food was so bad at our hotel that we ate in here 4 times, food and service where excellent as was obvious by the fact that it was very popular.Sorry youâre hotel didnât live up to your expectations..all-inclusive rarely does when it comes to good food! Iâm pleased we were able to rescue your tastebuds at Okapi! Thank you for leaving a review.

A lovely family run restaurant, very welcoming and accommodating. Food all home cooked by "Mum", and excellent quality, adapted to any personal requests, Dad and son serving- both very friendly and good fun. Visited regularly during our stay, always a great time. Fully deserves it's #1 rating as best local restaurant. Andres - add "Ay up me duck" to your "absolutely spiffing" phrase book. Thanks for looking after us. Loved the cherry liquor!!

We will be open from May 1st to October 31st (except from October 4th through 13th inclusive). You can enjoy in a pleasant and suggestive space as Cuk-Cuk any of our specialities: paellas and other rice dishes, "fideua", fish and shellfish stews, or get t
An excellent value for money experience. We enjoyed meeting other couples and families in the beautiful and sparkling clean Cuk-Cuk kitchen. Everything was thoroughly prepared and extremely well organised with high attention to safety. As a group, we were asked which language we would prefer to be used for the cooking instructions. These were delivered clearly and understood by all. As we got on with the preparations, there was a wonderful buzz of the various languages as everyone enjoyed the cooking experience. We were served our dish sitting together in the intimate patio of the wonderful Menorcan house which is home to Elena and Alejandro, Cuk-Cukâs owners. We purchased a solid and well priced paella dish from Cuk-Cuk and have since made a very successful paella from the recipe supplied. After the meal, we strolled into Cuitadella with one of the other couples. Good food, great learning experience and a wonderful way to meet others. Many thanks Elena and Alejandro!

We had one meal here and that was during the evening. During the early hours of the following morning my partner was very ill with symptoms pointing to food poisoning. Now I cannot say with 100% certainty that the illness was directly caused by the meal but ......... I will leave you to draw your own conclusions. My partner had a fish dish and said, whilst she was eating it, that she thought it was very nice. Again, I will let you draw your own conclusions.
