My Spanish is not good enough to write a review so please excuse the fact that it's in English. (My husband is native Spanish speaker and we went together to this restaurant.)We were visiting Paterna for the day from Valencia, which is where we now live. A friend recommended this restaurant so we had lunch there. Our hopes were high as we value our friend's opinion. Let's start with the fact that this restaurant was quite expensive for lunch. We certainly wouldn't have minded it if the experience was worth it, but it wasn't. Now how about the wait staff. The maitre'd was very unfriendly. The waitress was aloof. The other waiter seemed unconcerned. Looking around the crowded restaurant it was clear from the get-go that we were not locals and, an American woman (that would be me) I stood out. We got the cold shoulder as soon as we sat down. It took ages for anyone to address us. After ordering we asked for bread. We got two pieces while we saw that least four pieces had automatically been brought to every table but ours. The waiter wanted us to buy a bottle of wine but, because my husband doesn't drink wine at lunch and I don't like to drink too much, I only ordered a glass. He gave us an unfriendly smirk. After our main entree arrived, we asked for more bread. My fish was so bland I needed it to try to enjoy my meal. We asked four times - very politely and nicely I might add - when it finally arrived after we finished our meal. Overall our food was bland and uninventive. We had an average flan for dessert and coffee.Needless to say we won't ever return. Maybe they were just having a bad day, but I must say we were not happy. We are sophisticated, worldly retired professionals and I don't think we've ever had an experience as bad as this.

Si quieres comer en Manises , este es uno de los últimos sitios que deberÃas visitar. Local pequeño y el servicio malo. Además es bastante caro para lo que te sirven. No volveré

FIREWOOD-GRILL, FLAVOR AND TRADITION Tavella could be defined as a boutique restaurant. Located in the family house of Pablo Chirivella. An old Valencian farmhouse dating from the end of the nineteenth century and which was originally a farmhouse. The phi
This restaurant has a prix fix menu, with the only choices coming with how many courses your party would like. Order ahead for paella or rice dishes, as is customary in Valencia. It is not an easy restaurant to find, but it is worth the search behind the casino. We went with the fish (turbot?) which was delicious and cooked to perfection. There is a fish or meat option with the 3 course choice. The sauces brought alongside enhanced vs covered up the fish and it was delicious.
What can I say about this restaurant. Food superb. Friendly atmosphere. Service bad. 4 out of 5 of us got their meal. Everyone finished when 5th order arrived. And it was not what was ordered. So another 20 minute wait for the correct order to arrive. Food was lovely.

We visited this restaurant with a group of colleagues and I can recommend it.Food, service, and wines are affordable and very good quality. Not only the rice dishes, that are the speciality of the place, the beef and sallads were also an excellent choice. The daily menu includes first, second, desert wine and coffee, what else you need.Simple, clean and cozy, plus good prices...

This was an experience. I dined with friends/colleagues and we had a sharing menu which consisted of various salad type dishes, octopus and the best bit was steak that you actually cook to your liking at the table. The restaurant provide an authentic atmosphere with good service, food and drink. If I return to Valencia I would definitely return to this restaurant.

We went for the "Magic Kings" on the 6th of January. Arrived with the family, me my wife and the mother in law and the grandma who is in a wheel chair. When we called we told them about the grandma and there answer was there's only a few stairs!!! There was around 20 stairs. There is no way I hell that the grandma could go to the toilet, further 15 stairs. Is not prepared for Wheel Chairs (which is against the law) and the typical excuse was used "we are looking in to it"Well arrived at 13:45 1st was the problem of the wheel chair, our table was reserved for 14:00.In our section of the restaurant had 7 tables including ours, we were the third table to order. Our starters came in parts 1st arrived the next was 10 mins after, and 3rd 10 mins after that!!We were served last of all the tables. I am a waiter I've worked in hotels of 5 stars and under no circumstances you serve the starters or main courses in bits. After that came the main courses which were 1 hour 45 mins after we booked the table. GrrrThe veg came before the mains (there was nothing in the Menu about what veg it was going to be) which were cold by the time the mains arrived. They also put on the air conditioning to cold to get rid of all the customers at the end. There is no complaint about the waiters at all, BUT the management care more about money then there reputation. The kitchen could not handle and amount of tables. To be blunt I will never go there again.

This restaurant was a few mins walk from the Travelodge where we were staying (next to airport). The hotel staff recommended this place. There were a few bars, cafes etc around the area, but most of them werefairly basic. But when we found this restaurant, it was like finding an oasis in the desert. The quality of the food was approaching fine dining. Excellent fish dishes. Very friendly and attentive waiters, excellent ambience. Good value for money, â¬50 for 2 people, 2 courses each, beers, bottle of good wine.Strongly recommend this restaurant

Restaurante español, con cocina de mercado donde la calidad del producto destaca por su buena calidad. Servicio muy profesional y rápido. Buena ubicación en medio de las paradas de Rosas y Manises, en la zona de los bancos.
Very topical restaurant in a tiny Spanish city.Wonderful people and good tapas.I kindly suggest this place both for business and leisure moments.
