We adore this restaurant! Maria's Special with skirt steak and avocado is our family's favorite! Tonight we tried the churros with Nutella. They were incredible. We even got a nice gift certificate on our way out! Love this place!

If you love really good tasting, well-seasoned, just charred-enough, grilled chicken, this modestly-priced, modestly-sized and light-filled restaurant is for you! The staff makes you feel at home, offers to accommodate any of your dining needs, and you can almost feel that you are in Peru while watching soccer on the overhead TV and see paintings and photos on the wall of Peru. The menu is in spanish, with english translation just below each item. The rice and beans that accompanied the chicken were not overly-flavorful and that was a disappointment, but the 1/4 chicken was perfectly prepared. The dessert dish of flan was dense, overflowing with syrup and HUGE! Typical Peruvian items are on the menu, such as Inka Kola, Cusquenos beer, Chicha morada (purple corn juice) and purple corn pudding, plus corn pie, ceviche, even diced cow hearts! If you have ever been to Peru, as we have, you will feel transported back there. No guinea pig or alpaca here, though. Enjoy this newcomer to town and enjoy your pollos a la brasa!

There are far too few great restaurants in Long Beach. This is a nice addition. The food was very good, very tasty and the decor was nice.
