I have visited this restaurant twice. The first time was in August last year, with my in-laws and many cousins and nices. The second time it was with my wife and daughter. The restaurant offers good catalan food at affordable prices. The servers were very nice and service was quite fast. It is very convenient if you want warm and good food while skiing.

We were on our way from Girona to Andorra and could not find much open for lunch until we stumbled across El Brezo in La Molina. Not much to recommend it from the outside but the food is superb. Good, wholesome Catalan meals served with pride and passion. My first taste of Catalan sausage and I was not disappointed. Generous portions and great value for money.

I have been here a few times over the years it was s much easier to order this time as we were spoilt when the lady serving us said she spoke english and we could ask what she recommended, we tried various dishes of tapas with beer and finishing with a cognac, prices reasonable , great afternoon with friends close to our hotel so no driving necessary. It seems to be one of the places open pretty much all the time, so great to pop in and grab something when the weather closes in!

The Bodegon is a great restaurant with huge wine list. We had full dinner here with starters, mains (incl fillet steaks, mixed grill, salad, pizzas and pasta. Washed down with Moritz beer and couple of copa blancos. Waiter and Maitre D very welcoming. Well worth a visit.

Speciality in grilled meats and dishes of the region
We (2ad+4ch) are just back from a week skiing at our favourite Spanish ski station - La Molina. This time we stayed up at the station so had opportunity to visit again the Croca Brasa. Fantastic starters including various types of mountain Butifarra (sausages),Jamons, Pasta and Trinchet - mash potatoes with herbs and bacon. Mains also super local dishes, pasta, Bacalao from Barcelona and great steaks.Try the Moritz beer if they have it on draught. Zesty and fresh. Good deserts and coffee. Good prices. Cannot fault this restaurant. Also went out of their way to accommodate our Vegan daughter with roast vegetable and rice dishes and soups.

Fair quality meats. The salad was a mixture of precut processed green leaves, and freshly cut tomatoes, onion and olives. Desert was home made. Soft drinks come in those shot sized glass bottles.

I came with the kids looking for the "bravas similar to the ones at Bar Tomas (from BCN)": may be those at l'Esquirol ara not that too level, but definitely are quite good. There ar no further tapas (except for croquetes). Remaining menus is about pizzas, toasts, grilled meats and burguers. There is also a 2 set menus (15⬠and 21⬠each) where you can choose a variery of first courses, sexind courses and dessert (everything included). We took pizza, burguers and one set menu and I must say we liked it all.Decoration is pretty good too despite is the groundfloor of a mountain hotel.Illustration: bravas potatoes for 3,5â¬Labels: 2eat, $$, #mediterranean, #children, #terrace
