Strolling along the Marina we noticed it, looked very clean with well dressed waiting staff.Fantastic food and service, well priced wines and champagne.Excellent in every way and not overly expensive for what you got.The house turbot was lovely and a beautiful Albariño to match .Thank you very much for the comment 567sheilam. We found this little restaurant on our first night while staying in La Mata. We had a couple of tapas on the first evening which we found very well presented and very enjoyable. We then had 'menu del dia' the following day we found it excellent value at 11 euros which included bread starter main and sweet along with coffee and a drink. The food was very tasty and very good portions. The added touch of a free hors d oeuvres was excellent. In the end we went here four times for 'menu del dia' and each time the service and food were very good.

Visited this restaurant while on holiday in la mata as menu looked inviting. We ordered the garlic prawns for starters but was informed they only had enough for 1 portion despite the restaurant been very quiet. For the main course we opted for the goulash one with mash and one with French fries both arrived with mash. I can honestly say Iâve never been served a smaller portion of food for a main course it was so small it was like a childâs meal. The waitress was very pleasant and when we commented on the tiny amount of food on the plate made no comment. We ordered of the menu so this was not a set meal offer so you do not expect to leave still hungry. Definitely would not be going back again.

Visited this restaurant twice with a friend while in Torrevieja. Highly recommended given the positive ambience, great food (including some nice Chilean options) and friendly and welcoming staff. There is a very cosy outdoors terrace under cover, sometimes with live music. Ambience 10/10. Well worth a visit, especially if looking for a restaurant with a "genuine" feel to it. Again, recommended!

Eaten here before and it was ok, now under new ownership and they have tried to upgrade the place a little with paper table clothes and cutlery wrapped in an envelope plus a new menu.First impressions were very good, ordered a jacket potato filled with tuna it was different to what I would have expected as the tuna mix was hot but was edible (would have preferred the tuna cold) my companion had a salad which by Spanish standards was very good, reasonable prices and good service. The biggest problem for me is the fact that there is nowhere to avoid smokers and many people smoke in Spain.Thank You for Your opinion

Went with my parents and the family. Service was fab, I had a tandoori mixed grill that was really tasty. Everything about it was spot on. Hope to try one of their Thai curries before we go home. We sat looking out over the beach and sea, well worth a visit if youâre in the area.The lollies and shots went down well at the end.

Right in the heart of La Nogalera this small hotel is great value for money.Rooms are basic but spotlessly clean and the staff are very friendly. Some rooms have balconies. An absolute hidden gem in Guardamar and Spain. This new resturant blew us away with their food and service. Prices might seem high, but courses are big and it is recommended to share them. So overall i would say it is very cheap for a world class meal. Will definitly be coming back here a lot

We visited as guests of a friend for a night of entertainment and a meal.The evening was over subscribed and although the entertainment was excellent the bar system left a lot to be desired. Whether this is the norm as the venue does put on major horse shows as entertainment but we had to attend an inadequately staffed bar to firstky pay cash for our "monopoly money" vouchers in order to.purchase.our drinks.Then when the undoubtedly wrong amount of vouchers have been purchased you are "paid" in "monopoly money" vouchers again as change..meaning you can only redeem them on site..similar to playing Bingo in Blackpool!!!The food was good and as I said our entertainment was 1st class it was just 0 bar that left a lot to be desired. Maybe that was down to numbers and the fact it was 99% british audience so frequent visits to.the bar were inevitable!!
