Reviews on Spanish food in Javea, Province of Alicante, Spain. The coastal jewel of Javea is bookended by rocky headlands and is a prime example of old world meets modern energy. The "old town" district is filled with remains of walls built to keep out pirates, as well as a 14th-century church. Visit the beautiful white-sand Arenal beach, brimming with shops, restaurants and, in the summer, hopping beachside bars and nightclubs.

A very nice place to go, the only fault is that the availability of the menu depends on the catch of the local fishermen. That said there is plenty to satisfy both in choice and quality. The owner has travelled the world over the years and brings his favourite recipes to your table with a Spanish twist. I would recommend! It's always a pleasure to welcome you in our house.

The Basque chef is very talented and knows how to blend regional cuisine with an international touch - an art he shares with the owner Claudio. Visited by locals and foreigners alike (always a good sign) the cuisine has convinced us over the past decade. You feel at home with the service team, dining is a culinary delight, the place is modern and sea-facing only separated by a pedestrian "paseo". The prices are affordable.Muchas gracias por tu comentario Rudi.Un saludo.

Throught the meal the service wss impeccable. Three starters to share, and, as i dont eat fish, an alternative was brought without quibble or extra charge. Main courses superb and good choice of dessert. Worth much more than the price we paid but long may they continue-could not fault it

We were looking for somewhere to go for a celebration with friends and hadnât heard anything about Los Amigos. We went online to book but the booking widgets all said they were completely full so we popped in and they werenât full at all.We honestly had the best night. Elegant surroundings, lovely service the boss has a huge smile and is a great host. The food was outstanding, the wine equally so and each bottle of red that arrived came in a different and completely over the top carafe - it was theatre! I would live in here if I could ...... highly recommended.

We booked here for the last night of our holiday it was a wed night and the place was packed, our booking was for 7:30 which is when it opens and it was nearly 11:00 before we left and most other diners seemed to do the same we never saw anyone turning up at 9 or 10, I had the mussels in leek sauce followed by suckling pig followed by apple and passion fruit tart and a fantastic Irish Coffee. Stunning meal and sensibly priced wine list. Hard to find fault at all, if I was pushed I would say maybe the service was a tad on the slow side, or maybe that's what helped create thre 'chilled' atmosphere !

Tosca Restaurant was born on the 13th of June 2006 with a clear goal, to be an important part of our client's thoughts.Located in front of Javea's Parador Hotel, we have a terrace that faces the Arenal sandy beach from which you can enjoy unique views of
The team are excelling themselves in the quality of their food and service. Today we had the tasting menu, which included a range of fish dishes and a very tasty pork dish . All served with a real knowledge of the provenance and with wines to complement each dish. This restaurant deserves to be number one in Xabia. Last Tosca is a three star restaurant but without the fuss and price!,,Thank you very much Jan for sharing your fantastic experience in this community, it has been a pleasure to assist you and we hope to see you soon to surprise you again with our gastronomic proposal, have a good summer.

You can translate Volta I Volta as ''That time..'' or like to say ''once..." also as a way to cook a steak 'flip flop' and serve it hot and blue. At last Volta I Volta, you can undestand it as travel around or even to think something many to times. Like t
This is a fabulous restaurant-run by very talented chef Carlos and his beautiful and equally talented wife Margherita who leads their very customer friendly and attentive staff. We love eating here all year round, inside and out.Carlos and Margherita manage the special balance of sophisticated flavours with creative and beautiful presentation and good portion sizes in a relaxed, yet efficiently run and highly popular restaurant. Enjoy what they offer you and donât be afraid to try their creative dishes - let them guide you and you are unlikely to be disappointed.Try their signature vermouth cocktail! And enjoy!

Having read the reviews, we were looking forward to eating here. We booked in advance, which was very quick and easy. Very limited menu, with certain restrictions which were not clearly marked or made clear by the staff. Food was of average quality, with the exception of one dish (Cod with garlic sauce). Disappointing service from start to end and would not be recommending this place or returning. Thank you for sending us your opinion. We regret not having met your expectations. We have a menu with 3 salads, 12 starters, 3 fish, 5 meats, 7 rices and 5 desserts, we believe it is enough variety to choose from. It makes us sad that the service seems disappointing, when we give a family treatment, which is very grateful for our customers. We look forward to seeing you again and changing your mind.Regards

Visited La Cajita midweek. Had booked and we were first through the door shortly after 7.30. Within minute though the place began to fill. We spent the next three hours in awe of Miguel who handles front of house on his own and the skill and wonderful food of the chef. How on earth does he manage to produce such amazing dishes in his tiny kitchen, not keep anyone waiting, and then serve the food to the tables himself..Every restaurant in Javea should send their new waiting staff to La Cajita to see how it is done. Miguel has a friendly word for everyone, explains the wonderful blackboard menu in detail to one and all, serves drinks at lightning speed. Does he write out the bills with his feet? The food is so different to the standard tapas. I can still taste the suckling pig.and the goats cheese salad.By the time we reluctantly left the place Miguel was having to turn people away. There is no wonder it is so popular. Thank you for a wonderful evening .
