Stopped her for a lunch fill up before visiting the wonderful Cave Dwellers Museum.Lovely calamari tapas and then we ordered a simple lunch. Our Spanish is very limited especially when it comes to ordering from set dishes but wanting minor changes. Our waiter had no English so we were somewhat anxious about what might turn up.... everything was 100% correct and it was all so delicious. Fairly simple food, nicely presented. We haltingly asked how to get to the museum and a map was drawn on a napkin for us, then a tourist map was found. Our waiter couldn't have been more helpful.

Went to Florida based on reviews and the fact it is listed as good for vegetarians with vegan options. None of the waitors spoke English and thereâre only a spanish menus. Another guest was kind Enough to help us translate. The only things they could offer as vegan was the grilled vegetable plate and potatoes. . Every restaurant in The World can offer their sides to vegan. Wouldnât recommend even If the rest of the table did enjoy their meat dishes.

This location is no ordinary bar/cafeteria. Outwardly it is, but, the level of service provided by the large force of waiters is quite remarkable, so attentive.....and fast!!If you enjoy the famed Spanish Churros and Chocolate + leisurely people watching then this is the place to enjoy breakfast, another meald.Highly Recommended.

The place is just off Plaza de La Constitucion and is for me one of the best lunch tapa places in Guadix. Many restaurants/bars there do not offer much for lunch so Bodega Calatrava is a good place for a couple of drinks with nice tapas.

This place gets good reviews generally. We were a bit disappointed. It was modern and the food trendily served on black slates. We asked for steaks well done. They had to go back for more time. Maybe we should have booked a table but we were only in Guadix for a couple of days. They found a table for us in the cafe part of the restaurant. The restaurant proper looked really nice for those who had booked in advance. We wanted a bottler of white wine but just got glasses which were topped up when we weren't looking. Service was relatively indifferent. Smart spanish people arrived later and were welcomed quite differently. We left without taking a dessert. Maybe on a different night if we had booked ahead but in the circumstrances disappointing.

Taberna is a very welcoming restaurant and decor involves much exposed brickwork and timbers. It works well. Staff very polite and friendly. Food is prepared from fresh quality ingredients and is presented on plate very well. Looks as good as it tastes. Predominantly Spanish cuisine tho also some international dishes. Thank you for your comment, it encourages us to keep working. We are looking forward to see you soon.

Popped in here with friends for a lunch time drink after reading some of the reviews. It is a typical spanish bodega for locals, barrels at one end, a shelf down the side and a few chairs so standing up is the order of the day. We had 4 glasses of excellent wine with free tapas which were all very good and set us up for our walk around the town. Would love to revisit on a night, bet the atmosphere is brilliant

Desde que comenzamos nuestra andadura en el año 1998 hemos evolucionado y aprendido de nuestros errores. Comenzamos como un pequeño restaurante y poco a poco hemos ido tomando forma como un restaurante de referencia en la comarca, especializándonos en car
As usual, in Spain, nobody speaks English like me.We are waited for long time for menu. We want to eat some salads and griled meal.Menu was nice but what we want they didn´t offer becouse I don´t know.At the end we ordered what weiter "recommended".The flies were everywhere. We stay becouse we were very hungry.Afther visit we were very unsutisfied. It seems to me of very bad education that we scored negatively because the waiter did not understand the language, I remind you that you are in Spain and our official language is Spanish and not everyone knows English like me that day was resting, besides you have the letter in English and also mobile devices. You say that the food was good, so you should have more consideration and understand that if the waiter said "recommended" it is because he wanted to please her.
