Dinner for three on a busy Saturday - amazing service, delicious tapas. 5 rounds with two items per person didn't sound very much to start with but at the end we were all satisfied with the quantity we ate. Perhaps the manchego could have been a thicker slice.

What we liked from this restaurant was the possibility to taste several Mexican tapas at very affordable prices (i.e., "nachos con todos", 12,75 euros; 2 lamb chuletas, 7,50 euros; calamares, 5,25 euros). The kids menus also represent good value-for-money (6,95 euros). The classic margarita was well done.There is a playground area for kids.

Finally a restaurant in Grou, Friesland that doesn't serve meat/fish, spuds and 3 vegetables.Norma serveert offers "Spanish" style tapas although not in Spanish sizes, these are Dutch sizes; large. Thus we could not finish the 5 course menu offered.Apparently they source most of the produce from Spain. The food is outstanding; fresh, well prepared and creative.The wait staff is very attentive, polite. A bit loud at times, it is Holland after all.This place is a real find. It is a small establishment which only opens a couple of times a week so reservations are a must. We had to book 3 weeks in advance!Looking forward to the next time. Already decided to do a day of gardening so we are really hungry when we go:).
