Wow what a way to celebrate a 30th! Friendly, beautifully presented staff who made sure we were looked after impeccably the entire night. The food platters were delicious and spoke true to the cuban culture. We canât wait to celebrate other big events there!Thank you Cape to Cuba for helping us create a magical night!

We ate here twice during our three weeks on the Cape. On both occasions we mistakenly over-ordered and had to 'endure' the slog of trying and eating everything put before us. But it was worth it. the portions are excellent and the food is understandably varied and inventive. there is something about munching away at one dish while another two are slid alongside your elbow and while you're ogling these another couple of dishes appear somewhere else. It's a glutton's paradise really. The fact that we returned for another round having barely made the bell in the first bout says it all about this delightful little place. The staff are friendly and helpful too. Only minor drawback is the loo - one only so form an orderly queue; however while you queue you can stand on the steps and watch the food being prepared (it's really not as unhygienic as I've made it sound btw.)

Polana in Kalk Bay has a large reputation. But it has closed down. This is probably a very good thing. I cannot in good conscience give any rear view review on this establishment. The square meterage of Polana is currently undergoing renovation. It will be engulfed by Harbour Hoise staff there told us.
