This is a lovely bar to sit at and watch the world go by. Excellent service, always with a smile. Gets quite busy early evening as the residents come down to pick up their food from the takeaways. Good atmosphere.Thank you for your comment and hope to see you very soon.Sincerely Quay West team.

Excellent tapas and a nice place to stop after walking the 3 miles from the campsite. Excellent presentation of the manchego tapas platter, washed down by a glass of vin rouge!

We enjoyed our lunch immensely. During the week they have buffet starters and then several main courses, which I assume is the same as the main course we had on Saturday. Several large platters were offered, which include salad and chips. Three of us chose the calamari option which was fried tubes and baby calamary together with a good mayonnaise. The menu also had a tex-mex chicken platter, and a baked chees platter which came with excellent Spanish ham. I imagine this could easily be adapted to a completely vegetarian dish. The owner who served us was discreet, but always available when we needed her. She recommended a white Sangria, which although a little sweet for my taste was enjoyed by all.

Mediterranean kitchen with fresh products
A great place at any time of the day for drinks, lunch, dinner or coffee. A wide selection of starters and mains, if you like mussels this is the place for you (I don't but each visit I always have something different to eat). The price is a aerate for France. During August there are several music groups, varying types of genres, if you are at the Maillol you will have premier seats! We visit Le Maillol on a frequent basis from our place at Saint Cyprien, it is located right in the beach, lovely staff, Nicholas and Elsa always have time for a quick chat. There are comfy seats and tables outside, a covered area for eating and places next to the bar on a terrace.

We sought out this restaurant whilst in St CYPRIEN last week after reading it's reviews. Although it looked a little down market. The staff were very friendly, the service excellent and the food superb. I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys good food. We opted for the chefs special of 2 @ meal for 2 but the owner suggested we could try one of everything (21 dishes in total) What a fantastic dish. All 4 of us enjoyed the meal and the price was very reasonable. My one piece of advice would be not to rest your elbows on the black rubberised table coverings as they leave marks.A big thank you to all the staff who made this a great meal and to Trip Advisor for enabling us to find this place which is out of the way and some distance from the normal Harbour area restaurants.

Whilst on holiday and staying at Ortaffa, we visited this little cafe on our way back from Argeles-Plage, where we had been sunbathing on the beach. The magnificient sunshine in this part of France, with temperatures reaching into the high thirty degrees had made us very thirsty so when we first found this little bar on the Monday, we stopped for a swift drink. The people who ran the bar were so friendly, also the customers who were sitting at the little tables on the pavement, welcomed us. So we ended up staying for a couple of hours, and on every day for the rest of the two weeks we were on holiday, we stopped at this bar and enjoyed their company. We will make this our first stop when we return next year. The frites were very good plus the beer and wine, the toilet was clean and tidy. The icecream was heavenly.thank you very much
