Even being late the staff was quite friendly and very kind for givin a good service the options of having dinner at the terrace is great aswell and furthermore opens during week not only weekends.

We spent a week at this hotel and a couple evenings we decided not to go out.Short list of choices, but definitely quality food. If anything else fails - you are in Spain, so a plate of Jamon with beautiful toasted bread and some greens on the side will do it for you :)

Como cada año nos reunimos para cenar en algún sitio...y en está ocasión tocó aquÃ.En la reserva pusieron un menú de 26⬠muy bueno. Cantidades normales, pero como eran varios entrantes, media de pescado y media de carne, postre, etc...pues acabas redondo (jejeje). Estuvo todo muy bueno. El restaurante es pequeño , suele estar lleno.El servicio rápido, atento, amable, todos los platos salÃan a la vez, muy bien organizado. Buena relación calidad-precio. Recomendable.

This is THE place to go to eat and drink in Durango! Run by the charismatic couple, Ãngel and Gloria, the bar is buzzing and there are free pinchos on a Friday evening! The food in the restaurant, cooked by Gloria is delicious, fresh, regional and beautifully presented. We had prawn skewers, cod cooked in a deliciously seasoned butter, t-bone steak with patatas bravas and a selection of deserts. Each course was fabulous! The restaurant and bar are very stylish and the front terrace is beautifully designed. This place can't be faulted!

Once again, an enjoyable experience. I love restaurants with lots of natural light coming in and Aboiz its got it. Big windows with a warm decoration in well preserved ancient traditional house with character in iconic basque location.The food is great and service impecable at a reasonable price.I just had to make a comment about this place in which all my large family had a great time today.I would totally recommend it.( Tip...There are 2 bars close to the restaurant in which you can have a glass of wine before your lunch or dinner.)

this was the place where I used to regularly eat visiting Durango for the last 10 years... forthe first few years , i did not even bother to tray any other place to be honest.... its always full, familiar places even for a foreigner like me, the ladies who manages teh place makes you feel luike you are at home... they are both very attentive. The food is great , the service is great, the prices are fine...

Ubicado en un lugar tranquilo y agradable cerca de Durango (a un kilómetro aprox.) y a los pies del Mugarra.La comida está muy buena pero el servicio es lento y el "punto" de la carne (muy buena a pesar de todo) es el punto que quiere la camarera. El café, horrible.

I had a great meal here. I had the set menu, which was extremely good, and came with both white and red wine - a bottle of each! I am sure that for a table of 4 or even 2 that would have been great, but for a solo diner it was quite heavy going. I did my best! But seriously, the food was extremely good, and great value, and I recommend it

General speaking to eat very good in vasconian country is quite easy. Secret is the Quality of row material, meet, fish or vegetables.... In that restaurant you can mixture good materials, good service and nice enviroment. Good election. Price is relatibily cheap if you consider the level of kichen. Same restaurant in Madrid you pay more tahn double.
