We ended up on the terrace of this restaurant with hungry children and even if the service was painfully long (you're in Costa Rica after all) and the terrace full of smoking expats (we are not used to cigarette smoke smell while eating any more in Canada...), the food was incredibly cheap and delicious. Try the Taco doble with French fries. Really good. The burgers were pretty good too... and HUGE! The 5 of us ate for less that $18 and we left with some leftovers! Obviously, you don't go there for the athmosphere, but it is perfect for lunch!
We are a family restaurant that specialises on tilapia. You can choose to fish your own or not. There are many options available as to how you can have it prepared. Don't feel like eating tilapia? No problem. You can choose from our famous grilled pork ch
This is a great place to go with a group or a family. You arrive and can grab a fishing pole and start fishing your own tilapia or buy a little bag of food to feed the coi in the coi pond or go for a little ride in the rowboats which my kids love. (Not sure what the weight restriction is but a big grownup can almost sink one!) If you don't have any success catching a fish don't worry they will still fry you up one they catch for you!It has a beautiful open feel, swings and thatched roofs over rustic tables and chairs. A lot of the table bases are actually antique sewing machine bases. You can take great photos here. There are a lot of trees and flowers so keep an eye out for all kinds of gorgeous birds. A main meal of a fried fish will easily feed 2 people. Comes with rice and HUGE patacones (fresh homemade plantain chips) and pickled veggies (escabeche) Be sure to ask for lemon wedges (limón) to squeeze over your fried fish, delicious. Great fresh smoothies too. There is a little sandbox and toy area for toddlers and little kids to keep busy while you take your time eating. Just love it here.Thank you very much for such a great review. We love having customer like you visiting us.

We eat often at Casa del Marisco because we have a home nearby. It is our "go to" place for everything from 4 choices of made-today ceviche to a heaping plate of seafood rice. This is the place the locals choose. We also often buy take out - seafood soup - enough to serve four is a bargain.

The restaurant follows the concept of a full rotation and complete transformation of the cuisine. The menu adjusts to reflect each seasonâs prime produce and protein availability. All of our kitchen sourcing is local and fresh. Our team visits local produ
Live in the area and took my brother- in- law and sister-in-law here last week for a final treat before they headed back to cold New England. We went at sunset which was spectacular with a 360 degree view (the restaurant is in Hotel Three Sixty). The restaurant's architecture is unique and elegant. The service was perfect as was the food. Three of us had the slow cooked pork bellies which was perfectly prepared and delicious and my sister-in-law had the fish which she thought was great. There was no salad on the dinner menu but they were nice enough to prepare us all the salad from the lunch menu. We didn't order deserts as we were all full and already had pina coladas. And actually it was not as expensive as other restaurants in the area. Give yourself a treat and have a sunset dinner here.Richard B, Many thanks for the kind words and making Kua Kua a part of your family celebration. I know of no better spot to watch the sunset! We stopped by for a cold beer and decided to order some shrimp. So fresh and tasty. The beer was ice cold and the view of the river with the guys fishing for shrimp was fun to watch. The iguana on the roof was so cute. Overall, this place was a great place to hang out for beer and snacks. I recommend Boca Coronado to anyone visiting the Ojochal area.

Ricar2 Resteruarnt is located on the road between Dominical and San Isidro. Our location sits in hills above the City of San Isidro with spectacular views of the city and mountains. Ricardo's menu is a reflection of his Costa Rican heritage combined with
Went to this place tonight, we usually go to another place close by for the view but decided to try this place. Menu was a lot more extensive. I had the grilled ribs, wife had tuna.Rib was pretty good, potato good and the salad was good, they do have Olive oil n balsamic, big plus. All in all it was a good meal, the only negative was the wiater, bigger guy, was kind of rude. Don't know what his problem was but he was short and maybe impatient? Maybe needs some customer service skills training.

Mexican food in Uvita, come and enjoy our Tacos
Group of 4 came here for dinner. We sat by the bar side where it is more lighted. We ordered chicken, carnita, al pastor, and fish tacos. The chicken was dry and fish was just ok. Al pastor was definitely the winner.

Everything else is ok, but their Pizza might be the most under-rated in all of Costa Rica. It was the best we had, and we went to over 20+ pizza places with our kids... many of which claim "the best pizza in town". This place had great crust, fresh ingredients, and really authentic sauce. The beach atmosphere is also very nice. Enjoy!

Parrilladas y comida tÃpica costarricense. Hermosa vista al mar . Especial para eventos privados y cenas románticas.
Searching for an amazing culinary experience in the Rain Forest? Rancho Ceilo Alto is not to be missed. This hidden gem offers a Unique and Delicious Farm to Table experience. Nestled into the jungle, overlooking the Pacific Ocean this beautiful open-air Rancho has true Costa Rican charm. Owner and chef JazmÃn GodÃnez, presents a food experience like no other. The 4-course presentation includes integration of ingredients from her on-site garden and local organic farmers. Each dish is prepared with love over and open fire and includes layers of flavors as well as edible and medicinal plants. I was blown away by the level of technique used for each preparation and presentation. Not only is the food amazing, but Jazmin welcomes you like family. From the time that you arrive until the time you leave Jazmin is explaining each presentation including the benefits of the medicinal plants included. Definitely an experience not to be missed. Note; reservations required. In addition to dining, Jazmin also offers cooking classes using local ingredients and techniques. Also included is use and explanation of edible and medicinal plants.Thank you

Quaint little restaurant near the beach with a really nice menu. The paella was exceptional and loved the fact that the owners are involved as host and chef. Well worth the excursion. Personas hermosas en lugares hermosos.
