Charcoal rotisserie chicken , pork ribs , wood oven and TEX-MEX dishes , Burritos , Nachos , Grille salmons, Delicious salads , Steak, Rotisserie chicken sandwich And more
Each time that we visit, the quality of the food is always the highest quality. The flavor of the rotisserie charcoal grilled chicken is second to none. The spare ribs, steaks and salmon are just as tasty as the chicken. The price is very reasonable. The service is very fast and is some place that everyone should sample here in the Richmond metro area.

For a rather tired looking place, the service here was good and I'm sure enough locals now speak Spanish to where they feel right at home. The food, however, was average and unnecessarily sweet. In New Mexico you won't find sugar in salsa like Pepe tosses in. That was surprising. And I don't think of enchiladas being dough-y like what I had here. Oh, and if you like flan, the question becomes whether you like Pepe's flan. I couldn't eat it because, here again, it was loaded with sugar. Wonder if a dentist owns this small chain? It wasn't bad. I won't go back but that's OK because lots of others will and do.

A group of us went for lunch an we had a variety of entrees. I had the enchilada combo. The food was quite salty (and I generally look for extra salt). We make it a point to frequent Mexican restaurants and I have to say the food disappointed. The staff was efficient and friendly. Perhaps a different entree would be better.

It is a small and nicely decorated Mexican restaurant. It shows paintings and arts. The tables and chairs are painted individually. The restaurant has 36 drawings of horses and different Mexican country side folks. The food is average. Price is very reasonable. Plaza Azteca is still #1 in my choice.

Bocata is a family owned restaurant inspired in bringing authentic Venezuelan and Mexican flavors to Richmond.
Went to lunch with friends and enjoyed DELICIOUS Venezuelan food at the Bocata Latin Grill. The empanadas are a great deal and fantastic! The service was friendly. Unfortunately, the place is really small, so getting seats for a group was a bit dicey. The food is so delicious, though, and worth the inconvenience.
