This is one of the best places to eat in Grado, especially if you're with a group -- portions are usually HUGE, and menu is based on local specialties, heavy on the cheese and red meat. Menu del Dia is an especially good value, with lovely desserts to squeeze in after great trays of cachopo and steak and fries... Vegetarians are a bit of an afterthought. A platter of grilled veg is always a nice option, but the portions of this particular entree are surprisingly small. Salads come heaped in a big bowl, but are mostly iceberg lettuce beneath the trimmings. This is a fine restaurant, I only wish they'd put some effort into the veg. options. Dear Customer,First appreciate your positive and developed opinion. It is a pleasure to read such positive reviews from different places. We promise to work in the amount of vegetables as you tell us. We hope to welcome you soon.Receive a greeting,Customer Service Feudo Real.

This is an excellent place for eating in Grado. If you are not a big eater watch out because the portions are enormous but home made and delicious. You can ask to take away the leftovers, they were friendly and gave us a plastic container to take home. Strongly recommend this place.

Speaking Spanish really helps here as the menu is a little confusing. The items on it make sense but each dish is huge and it wasn't entirely clear whether each item had to be ordered for the whole table. For example the Ensalata Mixta was advertised as a Starter but was huge i.e. enough for all four of us rather than just for me! Overall the food was good especially the Pote Asturianas. The escalopes came breaded with a blue cheese sauce which seems to be common in this area.

We ordered the Menu. The dishes were really big, it was difficult to finish all the food. It might be the best restaurant I've ever been. The quality of the food and service was brilliant. Even our waiter told us a funny joke.If you're hesitating where you can go, come to this restaurant. PS: Try to book a table before coming here.

Five course pilgrim meal fro 10 euro, fresh, delicious and lovely wine. Friendly staff, couldn't do more for you, and a free after dinner drink. Huge portions and nothing seems too much trouble I felt very welcome after a 28 kilometre walk. Would go back agin tomorrow. Thank you very much.

Nos encanta el mundo de las setas y la gastronomÃa, en la Senderuela encontrarás la combinación perfecta entre la cocina tradicional y los platos más singulares en torno a las setas
We are here for the whole of our 2 day trip (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and just loved it. Incredible, freshly prepared, home cooked food. Tomatoes from their garden. Really tasty, hearty food and vey generously served. Ask the staff for recommendations and you won't be disappointed.

Having walked 6 miles of the beautiful Senda del Oso from Tunon, we arrived in Proaza hungry but found L'esbardu had not yet opened for lunch. From the outside Benjamin Casa Clemente didn't look much, but the menu del dia called to us. Inside we found a friendly welcome and were ushered to the bar's dining room. We ate salad, beef stew, caramel custard and rice pudding, all homemade, while the children had chunky homemade burgers with eggs. The ternera guisada was outstanding, with large chunks of beef that simply melted in the mouth. The friendly waitress generously offered us second helpings, but we were filling up rapidly. The house wine, bottled locally, was light and refreshing. We loved this authentic little bar, which apparently has been owned by the same family for three generations. I've had some mixed meals in Spain over the years, but Benjamin Casa Clemente has given me a whole new appreciation for honest, tasty Spanish cooking.

Only 1 waiter and 1 waitress serving, and this was in high summer season. To boot, only the waiter takes orders. When we arrived, the waitress attended to us, took our drink orders, brought us the menu. Then we were forgotten. In fact, another group who arrived later than us had their orders taken before us. Even hand-waving techniques failed. When we were eventually attended to, he didn't even apologise. He probably wasn't even aware. So, go if it isn't very crowded. Go if you like meat. And, oh, be careful of where you sit. An orange missed my head by a miracle!Full review in my travel blog.
