Reviews on Spanish food in Bata, Litoral Province, Equatorial Guinea including Restaurant La Ferme, Big Bites, Cafe Maritimo

I was the only customer along with the Spanish proprietor for an early lunch on a Wednesday. It's a 20 minute drive past the port and along a cleared but not yet paved road. (Dusty if passing trucks cross you .)It's a large open aired structure surrounded by a beach in front and a garden with some animals in a cage. The entrance is surrounded by trees.Menu features seafood but also paella and French food. My chicken brochettes was excellent.Service was very friendly and quick.Prices reasonable. You need to book over weekends.Sadly they were building a breakwater right in front of the restaurant, so no more direct beach access. And there is a hotel being built right next door.
I was with a tour group and ventured off by myself. I found this cafe off the beaten track. No menu and no English. Order fish and you will be delighted. Price is right.
