Had steak with pepper sauce, very nice, also salmon, chocolate and lemon mousse to follow, very good service, good value for money, the only downside, it felt that they wanted to move you out quickly but otherwise very good

Been travelling to Menorca for many years, but first time to this restaurant in Es Mercadel. Slightly cautious when we entered as there was nobody else around, however it quickly filled up and we enjoyed excellent food and good service. Will definitely return again in future.

It is a rustic house, situated in Es Mercadal, where it is pleasant and welcoming equipped with air conditioning and an outdoor terrace in summer, inside the house itself is a lounge with capacity for 20 22 nice people a ready-made daily on the kitchen me
This bistro was delightful. Charming service, lovely atmosphere, good food, good wine list..............All of us chose from the set menu and were not disappointed. The suckling pig was excellent but the portion was enormous. There were six of us and I wonât detail everything we ate - we had a very good evening and came away feeling rather full.We were recommended by Inntravel to try this bistro and it was only a short walk from the hotel where we were staying in the old part of Es Mercadal.I would recommend this bistro as well.

Can Bernat is a family-run restaurant, specializing in Quality grilled meat, Paella and traditional menorcan cuisine. Our location is in the countryside surrounded by nature and fabulous views.
This has an odd setting from the initial appearances, it is right off a roundabout in the middle of nowhere , gives very little away from the outside, but given the great reviews it definitely deserved a visit. There is a dining area which is dominated by a large meat display and a roaring fire / oven behind it.We were led out onto a charming covered terrace which overlooked the kitchen gardens and countryside, well away from the roadside. It was delightful as you were in the shade and got a cool breeze in the middle of the heat of the day. The menu had an interesting selection, different from all of the resort restaurants. We had grilled prawns, asparagus and a salad for starters , and rabbit, chuleton (a MONSTER ribeye steak) and leg of lamb for mains. All were cooked to perfection, generous portions and served by two very pleasant colleagues who both had very good English. You would have to drive or get a taxi here, but the well worth the effort.Thank you very much for your opinion, we believe that part of our charm lies in being located in the Menorcan countryside.Thank you for your kind opinion.

Ate here twice and enjoyed the food. Sat there every night to have drinks . There was a dancer who we have seen many times but during the second week it was cancelled as the weather wasnât good. This year Vicente the owner had a singer. She had a lovely personality and wandered around everyone as she sang. Songs likeâBig Spenderâ went down well. At one point a man and woman stood up and danced as she sang. Not part of the act at all but obviously professional dancers. They were superb. Even with no entertainment it is lovely to sit and enjoy the ambiance. Vicente welcomes everyone and fines them a seat. We usually reserve ours. He is a great host and the waitress, Soraya we have known for years also welcomes us both. My favourite bar along with Bou Hai.

Have stayed in Calan Porter numerous times but had never eaten at 007 before. As luck would have it, the villa we were in was literally 200yds from the restaurant. There were six of us and the waitress recommended we order different dishes to share, and that we could always order more as the evening progressed. We chose a varied selection, and found them all to be good. Some were excellent. I would be as bold as to say this is possibly the best Tapas restaurant in Calan Porter. Great service, great choice, and lovely atmosphere. I would recommend booking a table in the high season as they do get busy. Would also highly recommend the gin and tonic (never had it served quite like it before, but won't spoil the surprise!) Give it a go, you won't be disappointed.

Cocktails, Cocktail Bar, Pub, Mixed dishes, Burgers, Sandwiches, the ideal place to eat and to go drinking at night ...
We went for pre dinner drinks after reading good reviews on trip advisor. We were surprised to find the bar empty! Staff were really friendly and made the cocktails on the bar trolley next to the table. Unfortunately due to it being so quite there was just no atmosphere.

A family run bar serving a wide selection of home made tapas, many gluten free and suitable for vegetarians. Open Tuesday to Sunday from 9am to 12.30pm for coffee and drinks.Kitchen open serving Tapas from 7pm to 10.30 pm .Mondays Closed. Please note that
The first restaurant we visited in Cala en Porter having seen the reviews beforehand; it did not disappoint and we went back a second time. A huge range of tapas, can recommend particularly the lamb empanadas, salt and pepper squid and the patatas bravas which come with a gorgeous chili sauce. Decent house wine, too. Very popular so you need to get in early, but so good that people are willing to wait for a table.Appears to be run by Brits but the food is definitely Spanish!

Have been to Menorca scores of times but never to this magical place. Set in the most atmospheric surroundings you could ever imagine there is an aura of peace and tranquility surrounding the dining area and it would be impossible to think of a more relaxing place in which to dine and totally `unwind`.The food is good with a wide enough choice to suit most palates, a good selection of wines available and the staff are superb, being helpful, friendly and charming at all times.Set in the hills a few miles out of Mercadal this is one of those special places that travelers encounter very rarely and if afforded the chance please try this wonderful establishment.
