Look at the existing reviews online - excellent place, well worth listing!
Second trip to Ohau for business, my coworker and I were craving solid mexican food. I remembered eating at a really good mexican restaurant the last time I was here and tried to look up similar restaurants in aiea (couldn't remember the name). pretty sure this was the place as today's visit did not disappoint!Location is pretty small and well-hidden...if not for pics of the entrance we found on trip advisor and yelp i highly doubt we would've found the place. HOWEVER, we could smell the spices as soon as we got out of the car and had high hopes for this place. the food is AMAZING. menu is relatively small--but that's a good thing!!! you'll find everything you need to satisfy your craving for mexican. We both opted for the Campeon Burrito (Champion Burrito)...it was the size of a small child. Taste was on-point and the side of veggies and guac helped give me a breather between bites of burrito. Be prepared to order a to-go box...but if you do manage to finish, i congratulate you on that massive feat! I ordered a horchata to go...not sure if it was a store-bought mix or not, but it was so good I didn't care to ask.Only side note I would post is that the serving of chips and salsa is small...which worked out in our case. Salsa was delicious, chips weren't too greasy, but you could probably ask for another basket if you ordered something small or to share family style.I'd say the only negative I have was the group of ladies that were obnoxiously loud. If I can hear you over the Mariachi music blaring over the speakers AND the tv, you should probably tone it down just a smidge.

...kinda of pricey I think. Everything here is a bit expensive, but the food is quite good and the portions substantial. You can get the quesadilla with shredded chicken or ground beef at no additional cost, but steak or grilled chicken will cost you extra. My shredded chicken quesadilla was like $15. I just think that's really expensive for a quesadilla even if it is a good one. There doesn't seem to be a lunch menu here either, so you're going to pay the full price for dishes many of which are over $20. At the end of my meal, I noticed some paint peeling on the wall by my booth. I don't think this is good to have around food.

Visited for lunch. I had the red cheese enchiladas. Friend had a chicken tamale. Both items came with rice, refried beans and salsa. Both dishes were very tastey without being overly spicey. Portions were medium sized. Liquor/beer is also available. With one beer each, our tab came to approx. $32 with tip. The menu had a wide range of items to chose from. The staff was very attentive although the place was not particularly busy for a Thursday lunch hour. I had expected a hole-in-the wall atmosphere since that's what it looks like from the front (next to the bowling alley). But, I was pleasantly surprised at the interior, which was clean and roomy. Good air conditioning, too. You are competing with the bowling alley for parking, so I can see it being tight at times. On my visit at about 12:30, no problem. I'm not a Mexican food connoisseur, but I was impressed enough to go back and try other items on the menu.
