We came to this Chili's Grill & Bar because we had received two e-mail notifications. One was about a 3 for $10.00 promotion and the second was a birthday dessert. Though it was a Saturday evening, the restaurant was not completely full, though it was busy, at first. Our server, Christie, was there to take our drink order. When she brought our drinks back, we ordered from the 3 for $10.00 menu. We chose the Diet Coke with orange flavoring, a bowl of chili (which did cost $1.00 extra) and the enchilada dinner. We opted to share the dinner. I ended up with the enchilada dinner. As it was still relatively busy, the kitchen was a bit behind on the orders, so Christie asked us if we would want some chips & salsa. She brought those to the table and moments later, our enchilada dinner arrived, along with the chili. Both were hot, the dinner was on an extra plate because it was so hot. The enchilada dinner and the chili tasted very good. I must say that I prefer the chips, only because they are a little thinner and lighter. At the end, Christie brought the molten lava chocolate cake as a birthday treat. That was quite good with a nice balance of chocolate cake and vanilla ice cream on top. We like the fact that the Diet Coke is dispensed through a FreeStyle machine, which is how the orange flavor is dispensed. The price was quite reasonable. Christie was very personable, attentive and efficient.

Was at O'Hare waiting for my flight to Sacramento. Stopped at Burrito Beach and had a breakfast burrito and a soda. I like to get the burritos this way since you decide exactly what you want on it and how much. Served hot and quickly and I was on my way. Very good sandwich and it is always good to get them this way so it is something different. Certainly was a very good stop!

We had wanted to try Adobe Gilas for awhile and finally, we were able to on a Saturday on our way to a convention at the convention center. The staff was very nice and efficient, and the space was attractive, especially with the large windows overlooking the ice rink below. We also liked the beer list featuring local brews, but the waitress didn't know much about the beers or what was available on tap if only a brewery was listed. Once we ordered, the food came extremely quickly. Our meals were average. Not a lot of flavor. I ordered the cheese quesadilla, which was plump with cheese but no additional seasonings and hubby had chicken enchiladas. Again, not a lot of flavor. This being said, we were eyeing others' tacos so we'll give them another try for something else on the menu. They validate parking, also, another perk of the restaurants in the entertainment district.
