Voted Best Mexican Food on the Gulf Coast. Laid back Mexican with an American twist in a beachy atmosphere. Try our Cactus Grits and our Knockout Margarita.
The restaurant was not that crowded, but we were seated in the bar area. At first the service was quick, but our server was also the bartender, so as it got busier, it took longer to get our checks and pay and get change. The bartender/server was very nice and friendly and did her best to accommodate us. The "runner" who brought our food quickly, was also very personable and funny. The salsa, in my opinion, was average. I ordered a fish taco and a beef taco ala carte, and both were excellent. My friends enjoyed their dinners too. I had a regular margarita, and it was ok, but my friends loved their strawberry and mango margaritas. The menu was extensive and the prices were reasonable.

My wife and I enjoyed this ore youthful take on lunch during our time in Orange Beach, where much of the restaurant scene is geared to families or seniors. I got a grilled steak burrito stuffed to the brim with steak, onions, yellow rice, and cilantro. It was better than what I have had at Moe's and at Chipotle for sure (not to mention Taco Bell). It was very fresh. Some have given Chronic a bad 'wrap' in these reviews, but I also think some of that was that they were taking the food home and not eating it there right after being freshly made. This is a good call for a quick and energetic change of pace lunch.

We have visited this small restaurant several times. The food is definitely Mexican. Our experience here has always been good. The taco salad, tacos, quesidillas, are served hot and plentiful servings. There is a New Mexican restaurant nearby but we will always choose this one. If there is a food not listed we are interested in they will try to please you. Try it! You'll like it..
