This place goes in my top tier ever. It's the people that made the difference for me. Ever single person interacted with me in a genuine feel-good experience. They smiled and made me feel welcome. Not once did someone get within a five foot bubble around me without saying something polite and genuine. I want to be around people like this all the time. They had me the moment the lady smiled and said I could sit wherever I like. However, The Hatch enchiladas was off the charts good. I think what I like the most is that nothing over powered. It all blended nicely with each flavor adding it's own piece to the taste symphony. Two different servers told me they were moving in sixty days. I can't remember where, so the decor here won't matter in a few months. It's kind of basic, but I like that. It keep the cost of the fabulous meal at a reasonable price.Thank you to every single person that works here. You are an orchestration of kind people serving very good food.Woo Hoo! Thank you so much for your awesome review! We do have a great team of family and friends!God bless,Mary

I actually ate here the first week it was open. A lot has changed since then and for a brief time the food quality slipped - It has now regained it's awesomness (word?). The steak fajita meat is amazing and the Number 1 is recommended. Fantastic service - Miranda is the best and great food makes this at the top of Tex Mex in this area

We arrived for dinner on a Tuesday evening. They offer very good specials on some nights but not on Tuesday we discovered. We were greeted politely and seated in a booth as requested. Server arrived promptly with chips and salsa and welcomed us. We found the salsa which was warmed was a little spicier and runny than we prefer. Chips were excellent. Server refilled salsa and chips as needed. Beverage order was taken and delivered to us correctly. We ordered the Mesquite Chicken and the Enchilada Dinner. For the Enchilada you could choose what kind you wanted from beef, chicken or cheese. Both meals came with rice and black beans. Food was as we ordered and served piping hot. We enjoyed it.

Itâs an unusual thing to find me choosing Tex-Mex as Iâm just burned out with it. When I began to pay attention to whatâs in these recipes their appeal started drifting away. I donât believe the human body needs lard at any time, and the lack of imagination in those menus has driven me away. Also, there are just too many brands and too many outlets and we are covered up in the stuff.I stumbled into this place by virtue of being the right time and place. They have gutted the interior since I last saw it and freshened it up a great deal. The bar moved and everything inside is fresh, painted, and new. But, what theyâve done that I wouldnât expect is to depart the expected Tex-Mex items with a whole bunch of new offerings we wouldnât call Tex-Mex in my past. They have corn, and mashed potatoes, and grilled vegetables and all kinds of things that I donât expect in Tex-Mex traditional eating. I had a sirloin steak seasoned to perfection and without any weirdness on it like cilantro or salsa and cooked to perfection too. With that I had some seasoned corn with what looked like green peppers in it and the other vegetable was carrots, onions and some other interesting things grilled together. All three of them were over the top better than I expected. My server was Jini even though she didnât wear a name tag. She was most accommodating, cheerful, accurate, and a pleasure to do business with. The food came out with deliberate speed and was to the letter correct.I can remember this place back 25 years ago during some of Texas more stupid liquor law eras where one had to pay for a private club membership to buy a drink. Thatâs been gone a long time but it was the only way the restaurant could get around the cryptic liquor laws we live within which donât accomplish anything. You can buy a drink today if you are only of age and they seem to be set free from the stupid requirement to be a private club in a dry precinct.I left this place shocked to the core with their additional menu items not traditionally found in this type place. Everything I got was extremely good and the total bill was not unreasonable at all. The server was a princess and I hope I get to eat with her again. I feel sure Iâll be back more often and as of this date Iâd recommend them for Tex-Mex and a host of other things.Arnold, Thank you so much for this great review. It makes our day to hear what a great job we are doing and how much our guests appreciate it.

I stopped in to this restaurant for lunch with a friend a few days ago. It was very pleasant. The environment was quiet and the service was excellent. I had an enchilada plate with salsa verde sauce on the chicken enchilada and it was delicious. Will definitely go back.

Real Mexican food is a feast for the senses. From colorful peppers to the sounds of sizzling fajitas all the way to that incredible flavor. Each mouthful is just as much a result of the freshest ingredients as it is a result of the chef's expertise. Abuel
We were a large group, and the service was good. Most of the group enjoyed their dinners, I thought the Durango Burrito was mediocre. The chips are unsalted and fragile, so it's hard to dip salsa. Of the three salsa that are served, one is just tomato, the Verde has just a touch of heat, and the "hot" was barely warm (and none are flavorful). I wouldn't choose to return here. There must be better Mexican food here... So close to Mexico!
