I have given this restaurant every opportunity to be awesome. The food is good, the drinks are good, the atmosphere and location are good....so what's up? The service is never good. No matter what size of a group you are in or what time of day it is, the service is just Sloooooooooowwwww and the food is often cold when it arrives at your table.Ebazinam; I want to apologize for your experiences at the Muskogee El Chico. We are addressing these service issues and I assure you that on your next visit you will see the improvements. Please ask for a manager on your return visit, so you can tell us how we are doing.Sincerely;Mark MelhouseGeneral ManagerEl Chico #62204 W. Hamlin's El Toro

This is the worst Mexican restaurant I’ve ever wasted money on. Let me say that our server was fantastic. The chips were fantastic light and not greasy, the white sauce was okay, the salsa was NOT salsa. It was HORRIBLE. Who puts a ton of canned tomato paste in salsa and claims that is Okie version of Mexican. I’m born and bread in Oklahoma and that sucked!!!I got a chili rellino and it was about an inch an a half in size. Seriously. The chili was ground real fine with more grease than meat and zero flavor. The only Mexican food I’ve ever had to put salt on. The Mexican food I ate in the school cafeteria on the sixties was the same texture, but the difference was, it tasted good. This place is horrible and I think Gordon Ramsey would upchuck, walk out and lose half a million dollars turning his place around. Please, fix this place before you kill someone. And please don’t give the excuse this is what we Okies like in Mexican. Don’t insult us like that. Now, pardon me while I go throw up again just thinking about this horrible experience.
