Stopped in with several friends for quick lunch here because none of us had ever eaten at a "Los Tacos". Collectively, we had a couple taco salads, ground beef taco, shredded beef taco, chicken taco, nacho supreme, and shrimp tacos. general consensus was OK but no real reason to return. Best of the bunch was apparently the shrimp taco on flour tortilla .... didn't care for corn tortilla's but maybe that just our preference. Price OK but not inexpensive. Tacos are tiny, rest of servings were considered adequate.

Went with my wife and her sister last night. The menu was great with a nice selection of dishes. They have an outside courtyard which was nice. It was a busy time of the evening but the service was good. The menu goes beyond the typical standard Mexican fare. The Margaritas are very good with a wide variety of flavors. I had the Pinaâ Fajitas which is served in a half of a pineapple. The portion was huge and even though I am a hearty boy, some came home in a doggy bag. The chicken, pineapple, sautéed onions and peppers was a fantastic combination and I highly recommend the dish. My wife had the tacos de pollo which she was very happy with. My sister in law had the triggerfish tacos which she raves about. The prices were a good value and overall we were very satisfied with the experience with a âDefinitely will returnâ rating.

Went to La Cocina with a couple of friends and our 3 daughters. Several people who arrived well after we did were served while or 4 and 5 year-olds were getting like youngsters get when they've sat for a long time with nothing happening. When we finally got our food, every single order was wrong. On top of that, my chicken quesadilla had only two small pieces of chicken in it. The waitress didn't understand english, and, because she got every order wrong, obviously didn't understand Spanish either. The quality of the food was sub-standard and the service atrocious. Wish we had a better option in Fairhope, but all the Mexican restaurants here are sub-par at best.
