Excellent meat. Welcoming, pleasant staff. Despite it being very busy by the time we left they were happy to manage my poor Spanish. Plentiful portions. You need to be hungry to eat here. Appears to have a wide selection of wine. I noted the staff dealt well with young children at an adjoining table. Prices reasonable for area. Would definitely revisit. My wife (vegetarian) enjoyed her pasta. As it is mainly a parilla not the ideal spot for vegetarians but at least they had a few vegetarian dishes which many Argentinian restaurants struggled with.

We had dinner based on the recommendation of a local person as well as good reviews. The place is well appointed and has an unbelievable view. We ordered arugula with Parmesan salad and "ojo de bife" (translated on the carte as rib eye) with a wine based sauce. The arugula itself was very tasty but the accompanying cheese was tasteless and a far cry from real Parmigiano. The meat was slightly overcooked and very tough although the sauce was excellent. Apple strudel for dessert was also good. The waitress was nice and attentive.

A surprisingly founding at Deck 56. Delicious food in a very cozy ambience Surrounded by nature Deck 56 offers gourmet dishes. The risotto with mushrooms extraordinary and Bariloche's Deer marinated in mind Dijon mustard sauce as well. Friendly and attentive staff. Being cash as no credits cards are accepted.

This is the liveliest place we found in the ash-covered town suffering from continuing volacno eruptions. Most of the customers were locals, but the waitresses were very friendly and patient with us and our poor Spanish. This was our first meal in Argentina, before we learned the main rule of eating in this country: SHARE! We ordered a salad and two entrees. The portions are huge!!! We thought we selected grilled beef (from a "choice of" several dishes) -- but we got all of them. The waitress laughed with us at our reaction. We never saw so much meat on one plate. And all for under $20 with soft drinks included. From talking to other tourists later, we clearly had the best meal in town.

We chose this restaurant due to its appealing appearance and excellent reviews. Never again. We chose a window seat and were looking forward to a relaxing a pleasant meal. However, the waitress appeared and without even a greeting literally tossed the menus and I suppose the wine list on our table with an expression that would have frozen ice. I have never experienced such a miserable and unwelcoming beginning in a restaurant. We both left immediately without even looking at the menu. It was disgusting.

Following the positive reviews on TA, we decided to go there for dinner. The food was simple, but delicious and the service fast. The best thing about Trattoria is its privileged view: facing a lovely lake and the Andes mountain chain. The rest (service, food, value for money) is all quite average. So, if you go there, make sure to go during the day, when you can really enjoy the best it has to offer.

Warm ambience, kind service and great food! Very close to Manzano and not far from the town. Try the arugula and prosciutto pizza or the stuffed pizza, both are delicious.
