Se encuentra ubicado frente a la plaza y al tener mesas en la calle, al menos en verano es una buena opciónSólo desayunamos, por lo que no puedo opinar de la comida, pero ricos desayunos y muy buena atención

After a lovely evening exploring the night festivities at Cura Brochero, we wandered back to Mina Clavero for a midnight dinner. El Viejo Nogal's location fit the bill--a lttle out of the way and not overly crowded. The service was slow but it was a beautiful evening. The 5 of us each ordered different pasta dishes with most being very satisfied. I was diappointed with my fettucine bolognese. At first a nice surprise was the pine mushrooms in the tasty sauce, but they needed a more thorough cleaning as a few bites were gritty. The pasta itself was mushy and definitely not al dente. I came close to giving this restaurant a poor rating because there was a young boy, about 10 or 11, who was kicking a soccer ball in the dining room and making a lot of noise. Even though the restaurant patrons were all eating outside on the patio, this kid, who obviously belonged to someone on staff was more than a nuisance. The only reason I upgraded this to average was that some in my group found their dishes very good --- the squash ravioli apparently was appreciated. Prices reasonable - 5 meals with drinks and tip. 800 pesos.

The restaurant is inside the mall and in the upper part of the street. In balcony, you can see the "beach" and the river. It's gorgeous! The food is great and you can choose meat, fish or pasta. The service is very good and the price is fair. I recommend if you can choose the outside part of the restaurant (balcony).

Mina Clavero has no shortage of very good restaurants. We ate at 3 of them and they were all very good, with different strengths. We arrived early and there were no other customers so the dining area was at itâs pristine best. Beautiful black table cloths over spotlessly white table cloths and every glass was gleaming. We ordered a salmon and that is exactly what we got â a modest size of excellent salmon sitting starkly in the middle of our plates with a minimal garnish. Staff were fairly friendly and quite attentive. Lovely ambience but a little over-priced, good food but small portions, and no attempt at the art of presentation.

I had a burger and fries on one occasion and tostada (a thin sandwich of deli meat and cheese) on another visit. The tostada was basic and a nice snack. The burger was clearly a frozen patty revived to warmth on a grill. Good selection of beer. Nice exterior patio. Like most of this town the price of a cocktail (whiskey/coke for example) is a two part affair - one charge for the booze and then you have to buy a bottle of soda. I know. Don't fight it. Just go with it. The staff are really nice. This is not a bad place for internet , beers and hanging. Perhaps save your dining-out money for another restaurant though.

When you walk in on your right is a huge grill (parilla). This restaurant has great grilled dishes...from beef to fish to provolone cheese appetizers. The decor is festive. We loved the delicious eggplant dip they served as we arrived. My husband got the beef and I got the blue cheese fish...I thought the sauce lacked flavor (too much flour not enough cheese/butter/cream) but other than that we really enjoyed ourselves.

The service here was amazing...waitress knew every ingredient to every dish we asked about and was very attentive. They even served our imported beer in chilled glasses and gave us a white wine bucket of ice to keep the rest of it cold. The food is much more interesting than your average restaurant and you can tell the chef takes pride in his menu. We recommend this place as do others.
