Alejo is a wonderful host: shy, but charmingly proud of his recently opened Mexican Restaurant along the Southern Pacific Zone. Quality ingredients, generous portions on the fresh fruit margaritas, and an overall relaxed atmosphere. Check out the bar which took four local craftsmen two months to create!

The ceviche was tough and the fish didn't seem fresh. Service ok. There were two other couples there. Ate at several other places in the area and this was the worst. I usually go to sodas and local spots for bocas and beer but wouldn't return to this one...

Ordered two fish sandwich plates. Unfortunately the kitchen only prepared one, but was enough for two people to share. Was delicious! Service was attentive, beautiful view, and peaceful atmosphere. A bit pricey, but worth the view.

Like the other reviewers, we came here after a Uvita 360 tour because of the proximity and because the tour guides recommended it. We were tired and did not want to go looking for somewhere else. We were not expecting much, but we were very pleasantly surprised, first by the attentiveness of the waiter, and then by the quality of the food. This is not a fancy place, closer to a simple soda (but with a more extensive menu). But the important things - service and food - were very good in our experience. If we had been staying closer (we were in Dominical), we would have returned for at least one more meal if not more.

Maracuya is the trendiest joint on the south coast. A modern âstreetfoodâ café with all the right stuff on the menu: Buddha bowls, poké bowls, vegan, Asian, raw, deepfried...We had two bowls and enjoyed every bite. Great dressings, crisp veggies, served quickly, moderately priced.Maracuya also offers decent ice coffee in a jazzy atmosphere.

Mexican food in Uvita, come and enjoy our Tacos
Group of 4 came here for dinner. We sat by the bar side where it is more lighted. We ordered chicken, carnita, al pastor, and fish tacos. The chicken was dry and fish was just ok. Al pastor was definitely the winner.

I recently stayed for a second time here and again loved every minute of it. The place is very lively, comfortable, affordable and the staff is exceptional. Being in close walking range to the beach and surfing made the experience that much more memorable. I will definitely be back soon! :)

Service was very good. The pizza and empanadas were both very good. Seating is rough and uncomfortable so it seems better as a takeout place. Mosquitoes were relentless in July and we probably should have just taken the food home. We will definitely go back but for takeout only.Thank you very much for your opinnion!!. This is actually a place just to take out, that is the reason why the place is not made for eating as comfortable at people needs. Some people choose to eat here but We do not offer table service, the food can be easily eatten by hand. We hope we can cook again for you!!! Thanks again!!!

Conventionally located near the Marino Ballena National Park entrance and several of the tour operators in town. We stopped here twice and very much enjoyed both visits. The first time was just for drinks with french fries and ceviche (to satisfy the diverse cravings among a hungry family) after a full morning on a boat tour. The french fries and ceviche were so good we had to order more of each! The other time we stopped was for dinner which was also very good. The fruit smoothies were exceptional as well. Reasonably priced and a perfect and satisfying stop after a long afternoon at the beach or on the water.

From the time that you arrive until the time you leave Jazmin is explaining each presentation including the benefits of the medicinal plants included. Definitely an experience not to be missed.
